I had lost my lock for my Kuat hitch rack. This replacement works great and is a little bit more ergonomic than the original. For the price, more than worth it to replace it.The issue I had is that when I got this new lock it was a different key code than the original lock I had. Needless to say, when I used the integrated bike lock in the rack, I was keyed to the old code and the new keys I got with the new hitch lock did not work. This would not have been much of an issue had I not got rid of the old keys. Needless to say my bike was locked to the rack for over a week while I ordered new keys.TL;DRThe key code for the new hitch lock might not be the same as the original lock. This is meaningful if you use the cable lock that is in the rack.

I lost my original lock and pin and purchased this one and it is much easier to use and work just as well.
