This aerator helped boost my yards grass grow. I recently had my home re graded and they ripped apart the sod. I had little luck without this tool. After doing research i learned about this tool and it made wonders. With the tool and proper watering your yard will be looking healthy in no time. A little assembly does need to be done but it is an easy install.

This manual lawn aerator has been a game-changer for our yard! It was easy to assemble right out of the box, and the T-handle with the wide foot plate makes it comfortable to use—even for a longer stretch of time. The 15 iron spikes are tough and dig into compact soil with no problem. After using it a few times, we noticed a big improvement in how the lawn absorbs water and fertilizer. The grass is already looking healthier! It’s a great tool for anyone who wants to revive patchy or tired-looking lawns without the hassle or cost of renting a machine.Highly recommend for regular yard maintenance—it’s well built, affordable, and effective.

I had high hopes for this fairly attractive, seemingly well-made garden implement. And I'll probably be the lowest scored review, but I want to present an honest take to help would-be buyers.First, the unit requires quite a bit of assembly. One would have thought that the factory could have assembled at least the "iron spike" parts and still managed to fit everything the same way. But no, you have to go through the tedious process of fastening all of the spikes (as others have said, start with the middle row). The first issue: the paior of provided wrenches don't do a great job, sadly. It seems that the heads of the "spikes" are either rounded off or just poorly specced for the size of wrench. You'll have to source another wrench or socket set that fits. That said, assembly seems to move along. I torqued the spikes as tightly as possible . . . but upon less than an hour's worth of use, I had to retighten a good percentage of them over and over. Either they need a locking washer or else have a tolerance issue. Hopefully I can find some "lined" nuts that will fasten the spikes a bit better. You don't want them TOO tight, though. Why" because they may bend. I had it happen, somehow. Luckily they provide some spares. All in all, I spend almost as much time cleaning the bottom side of the unit as using it, which made me realize that a different version of this for sale has some sort of spring loaded plate that automatically cleans off the spikes when they grab onto solid earth or chunks of wood or other debris. Trust me, it will be worth it.Sorry to be the bearer of bad news here, but I'd hope that the next version of this has a better level of utility.

This aerator was very easy to assemble! The spikes were a little tedious to install, but not difficult. I would recommend using a ratchet and either an adjustable or a box wrench. #10 mm but still has a little play and careful not to strip the hex bolt, or nut.The handle feels like neoprene, comfortable to hold. The triple row of spikes will help speed the job up. Aldi, just make sure to alternate starting with one in the center and one on the outside edge. I then did the last row all together. The included wall hanger In not so sure that will last after hanging this aerator on and off of it. Screws are very small.

This was super easy to assemble. It comes with directions but you don't even need them. It comes with extra parts in case you need them. And little tools. I didn't use the tools, just grabbed a ratchet and a wrench. The supplied tools are flimsy. Make sure you do the center of the stakes first! Otherwise you will have issues tightening them. It was a good height. Easy to push down and pull up, even with our hard packed earth. We're planting grass soon and definitely needed to prep the ground. The handles are padded and that was a nice touch as we have a large front yard, and it does begin to bother your hands. They have gloves with it, but they're pretty thin and scratchy so we didn't use them. They also included a hook if you want to hang it in a shed or garage. Overall, very happy with this!

I have wanted an aerator for a long time and this works fine for our needs. We have a mixed clay soil and patches are getting waterlogged. By aerating, it will help the soil and grass.Easy enough to assemble and use. A little time consuming, but nothing awful. They do include everything you need to get up and running. They also are good enough to include extra hardware in the event you need it.I didn’t use the gloves they included as I didn’t find them helpful.Overall, a perfect tool for my use.
