Gadget or tool? I consider these a tool. As a person who sews a lot these are indispensable. Now I can’t sew without turning them on. Big bang for the buck!

The sewing machine LED light cord adds an extra set of lights to my sewing projects. It can either be plugged into the USB directly on my Brother Brand Embroidery sewing machine or onto the plug on the wall for my mechanical sewing machines. Attaches directly to the curve or harp on the sewing machine for great direct light on my sewing projects.Now I can sew easier and more accurately after dark, even with extra desk lamps and this nice quality attachable LED light.

This was purchased to be used on an industrial sewing, my wife has been a designer/sewing for many many years. She is over the moon with how good this led stripe has worked, we tested it using some tape by covering some of the leds to reduce the amount of light and where the light was needed. We trimmed off the extra leds not needed and happy work days 10/10

My brother sewing machine has a built in light but it only shines on the needle area. Installing this strip light was easy and quick. Now I have copious light in the work area. I have limited AC plug as my sewing machine is in one and my iron in the other. I solved this problem by using a portable charger for the USB connection.

This light is very bright and has really helped me see what I am sewing. As others have said, the little clips do not stick (hence the four star rating) but the adhesive on the actual light strip is working great. Definitely worth buying
