I am very satisfied with this charger. My 77kwh battery equipped Kia EV6 charges from 10% to 80% in just 14 hours, so for a typical day of driving it only takes a couple hours. Much faster than a level 1, but the 6-20 plug allows me to plug into my well pump circuit. I have a whole house water treatment system, so the well pump only operates a couple times a day to refill the holding tank. The well pump circuit is way down at the bottom of my driveway, so I'm able to charge the car outside rather than pulling it into the garage, and just by unplugging the well pump and plugging in this charger.While this charger would be a great secondary or travel charger for anyone, it may be a perfect primary charger for the right use case, like mine. If you have a 6-20 outlet somewhere and want a plug-and-play level 2 EV charging solution, this may be the right product for you.Also, included adapter seamlessly transforms this thing into a level 1 charger, allowing you to slow charge off any regular household 15amp outlet.And yes I've left this outside overnight many times (not directly in the rain, but in a humid environment for sure) and have had no issues.

Hemos estado probando este cargador portátil para coche eléctrico en las últimas semanas para ver cómo se comporta en diferentes situaciones, y la verdad es que nos ha dejado buenas sensaciones.El cargador tiene un diseño robusto y viene con un cable de cinco metros que resulta cómodo para conectar el coche sin necesidad de andar buscando una toma cercana. La pantalla LCD es un detalle práctico, ya que permite ver claramente la información de carga en todo momento, como los amperios seleccionados o el tiempo de carga.Algo que nos ha parecido útil es que permite ajustar la intensidad entre 6A y 16A. Esto viene bien para adaptarse a la instalación eléctrica que tengas disponible, sobre todo si lo quieres usar en casa con un enchufe Schuko normal y no quieres sobrecargar la red.Durante las pruebas, la carga ha sido estable y sin interrupciones. Lo hemos utilizado principalmente para recargar el coche por la noche en el garaje, aprovechando la tarifa nocturna, y ha funcionado de forma correcta. También lo llevamos en el maletero por si alguna vez hace falta una recarga de emergencia en algún sitio donde solo haya un enchufe convencional.Como detalle menor, la bolsa de transporte que incluye es bastante grande para el tamaño real del cargador y no trae soporte para fijarlo en la pared, aunque eso no afecta a su funcionamiento.En resumen, nos ha parecido un accesorio muy práctico tanto para uso habitual en casa como para llevarlo en el coche y asegurarse de que siempre hay una opción para recargar, aunque sea despacio.

Caricabatterie per autp con display LCD grande e ben leggibile, permettendomi di monitorare in tempo reale lo stato della ricarica senza dovermi avvicinare troppo. La potenza di 16A garantisce una ricarica rapida ed efficiente, riducendo i tempi di attesa. Inoltre, il design robusto in alluminio dà subito un’impressione di qualità e resistenza. Mi piace molto anche la versatilità della connettività, che lo rende compatibile con diverse prese. Consigliato.

Dieses Typ-2-Ladekabel präsentiert sich als eine zuverlässige Option für das Laden von Elektrofahrzeugen zu Hause oder unterwegs. Die Verarbeitung wirkt auf den ersten Blick sehr gut und die verwendeten Materialien machen einen hochwertigen Eindruck. In der Praxis erweist sich das Kabel als praktisch in der Handhabung, die LCD-Digitalanzeige liefert nützliche Informationen zum Ladevorgang. Die IP65-Wasserdichtigkeit suggeriert eine robuste Bauweise für den Einsatz unter verschiedenen Wetterbedingungen.Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen ist die mitgelieferte Tasche. Diese ist zwar funktional, jedoch deutlich überdimensioniert und beansprucht unnötig viel Platz. Ebenfalls vermisst wird ein Wandhalter, der eine ordentliche Aufbewahrung in der Garage oder am Stellplatz ermöglichen würde.Fazit:Insgesamt handelt es sich um ein solides und funktionelles Ladekabel, das in puncto Qualität und Praktikabilität überzeugt. Wer jedoch Wert auf eine kompakte Aufbewahrung im Fahrzeug legt und eine Wandmontage bevorzugt, muss gegebenenfalls Kompromisse eingehen oder zusätzliches Zubehör erwerben.

This is my first charger, so I have nothing to compare it to, but it works well for me. Yes, it is a level 1, so it takes a while to charge my car.

my standard charger that came with car is dead so I bought this as my L1 travel charger but this also can be very handy to have in your home, it can act as a L2 charger and provide 3.5Kw constant power, that is almost 3.5-4X the L1 charger, it would not be as fast as a 50 Amp charger for sure but if you are not in a rush it can charge your fully over the night when connected to a 220v plug. I love the fact it support both 110v and 220v so you don't have to have two chargers for different use cases. I had no issue with overheating. I would suggest it to you if you have a EV considering many EVs don't come with portable chargers anymore

This charger came to my rescue when my build in charger in started giving me issues! Love that I can use either the 220V option for faster charging or the 110V extension with a regular outlet. Super convenient and works exactly as expected. It was a lifesaver that arrived just when I needed it. Definitely recommend for anyone who needs a reliable backup or portable charging solution.

This charger is a great choice to have if you want to charge your plug-in hybrid vehicle either using a 120V or 240V socket. Charging it at 120V, it takes approximately 5 1/2 hours to fully charge. If you have 240V power outlet for this charger, it will shorten the charging time by half to fully charge.I bought this for the faster 240V charging of a 2017 Prius Prime (PHEV). I want to be able to use it wherever I go, so the 120V capability was necessary too. The charger works with 120V using the supplied adapter. The cord that plugs into the wall is long enough to take stress off the plug while the charger rests on the ground.Overall, it's been a great product to use and I highly recommend it if you like the idea of charging your vehicle at home and you need a spare or replacement.

Cord is long enough for my needs. Makes for a good secondary charger so I don't need to carry my primary one with me everywhere especially since I have two locations where I end up charging frequently. Now I can just be one at each without having to spend the full price of another brand name one. Seems to be charging much faster than my OEM charger, around twice the charging rate 🤩

I’ve been using the VDLPOWERVP Level 1 & 2 portable EV charger for a few weeks now, and it’s honestly exceeded all expectations.
