I love the features and it looks fantastic when it works, but on longer discs it tends to freeze up and require a restart after an hour or so. I understand this is a common issue with most players but it's still really irritating when it happens.

As an inexpensive, refurbished Ultra-HD Blu-ray player used as a 2nd unit for a bedroom. It is just fine, Good picture and audio, remote works well and is a good value. All the basic, typical features work as they should.The few CONs include the fact that it has very limited streaming capability with only a couple of the major streamers available. Also, it didn't recognize videos I tried to play from a front panel USB jack. Unfortunately the documentation is accessed by a link included by the refurbisher in the player's box. The link takes you to the most basic universal instructions on how to generically operate almost any DVD player, No good documentation for this specific model.All that being said, it is still a 5-star review if you're looking for a decent (so far), reliable Ultra-HD Blu-ray/DVD player as a 2nd unit or a backup, you can't go wrong with this LG UBKM9.

Wonderful Blu ray player! No problems so far, and will update this after some months. It plays very well, and the remote only requires one battery. The colors are beautiful and it's fast and reliable with 4k UHD movies. Every detail is clear on the big screen (we have an 85 inch UHD TV) no pixels no problem! Haven't had issues with the sound either. I have yet to try the wifi though.

Arrived in like new condition. No signs of wear or tear. Loaded up my 4K UHD of 2001 very quickly. Button response is fast. For the price, this player is a bargain. Proud to add it to my LG collection.

I returned the first refurb unit but the second one has been working well for the last 3+ years. I'm only giving this 4 stars because it feels a bit sluggish in terms of how long it takes to load discs and pull up menus etc, but perhaps I am just spoiled by how much the streaming experience has improved. Picture quality and sound quality are great and for the price it is a good way to be able to play 4k Blu Rays on occasion.

Without fail. Player stalls out on movies that are longer than 2 hours. these players have a issue across pretty much all of them when playing 100GB triple layer discs. These are used for longer movies, you can see a list of here. When the player transitions to the third layer the movie freezes. The only way to get playback to continue is to exit back to the devices main menu and then go back to the disc.
