These switches work perfectly. You just need to install (very easy) and let them initialize, which takes about 2 minutes, then you'll be good. They are nice because the led indicators just flash long enough for you to see what is happening, but don't stay on wasting power (yes, I know it isn't much power) and lighting the room. These look nice and work just as you would expect.

Timer lasted 1 month then quit working. Checked installation and power and all was ok. Can't return as had it just over the 30 day return window... Stay away from this product.**** Update**** Lider reached out and offered to replace the switch at no charge. Installed new switch and is working as advertised. I have changed my rating from 1 star to 5 star because of their customer service. Hopefully, this one will last longer.

Ordered this LIDER 2-Hour Countdown Timer Switch with Wall Plate as I am a journeyman electrician and can often use these in remodel or new construction projects. Unfortunately I think this particular offering has some issues that make it a questionable purchase.The item came packaged in a branded box with manufacturer contact information and UL listing which is a great starting point. I unpacked the countdown timer and hooked it up using my test setup in the kitchen. After waiting 2 minutes like the instructions said (the load was active during this time) I long pressed the power button and the lights shut off. Then I was able to select the different timer buttons, when I did so there was an LED light that quickly flashed to indicate what button was selected then the LED's went dark. The light stayed on for the correct amount of time before turning off. Most of these are designed such that the LED's illuminate the amount of time remaining on the node, this one did not. When it's on you don't know how much time is left.The switch does seem reasonably constructed, but as an electrician I question the fact that is it UL listed while requiring a ground wire. That means that it must be used to complete the circuit on the LED indicator light and that should be a code violation. A ground can only be used as a ground, every other switch that has a light I have installed requires a neutral to power that light. That's issue number 1. The second issue is that the listing claims it can handle 1200W while the instructions that I took a picture of list: 800W for tungsten and 6.4A for resistive loads 6.4*120 = 680W resistive. Then they list the fluorescent capacity in volt amps... why list each load in a different metric? No matter how you list it none are equal to 1200W. That makes this item unsuitable for cadet heater loads, pretty much only lighting or fans.I would like to rate the product higher, I had to take a star for the LED light not staying on, one for using the ground in a suspect manner and a final star for listing in the subject 1200W load capacity which does not match the other metrics. I will not be installing it. Depending on what your usage scenario is there are better priced products on Amazon without the above issues.

It works as intended.My only complaint: the night led light is too bright. It stays even when the light/switch is off and it's just too bright. I would have preferred that the led night was on only when the/switch was on as well.
