Its clearly cheap paper but for the lack of cost it does the job. Great for just messing around and daily playing with color. Its not super smooth, it does have a texture but its cheap so I dont expect too much. I wouldnt sell anything made with these but its fin just for practice or learning or just my own play.

Really nice paper for me, a beginner. I used gouache paint and the darker colour bled nicely into the lighter colour. (The photo doesn't show it as much as it looks in real life) The subtle bleeding is my error, not the paper's. I was scared to go darker after my first few strokes. The weight is nice but it feels slightly thinner than Canson XL watercolour paper. Having said that, it is only slight and the absorbancy of this paper is really nice.Came with 2 packs. Each pack had 20 pages/sheets.

The paper is not very absorbant, water puddles. Grains are uneven. Stains and damage.Some of the papers came destroyed on the surface with uneven stains and marks of felt .Would not recommend for anyone trying to expand their skills in watercolor

There is just enough texture in the CP watercolor paper to make lovely ink with watercolor sketches. Back side is very smooth - more like Bristol, great for dry marks. Fits in the Lightwish journal nicely.

I like the idea of a ring system for color sketches. I mainly use it for any wet medium sketches. It did little to no buckle. I usually use a lot of water and multiple techniques on my finish pieces, but I’m treating it as a fun little sketchbook. I'm not sure how much it will buckle if you do wet on wet techniques. I mainly use wet on dry techniques and a bunch of glazing. I also paint front and back of the paper and had no problem with it. If you don’t like ur watercolor piece, you can easily remove it. I’m getting the cold press next time I need to replace them. They didn’t offer cold press when I first got it. This is an affordable watercolor sketchbook option that is 100% cotton.

This is paper is only textured on one side, the back of the paper is much smoother and the sizing on the back seems different to me as well.
