i bought this wall mounted boom arm so i could have a light that wasn't attached to a light stand on the floor. When i am sitting at my desk i mounted the boom arm right outside of my closet that was perfect when i extended it out horizontally to have as a hair light while i am shooting my videos. also, I am able to adjust it vertical and add a ring light on top of the mount if i wanted to do my self-tape auditions standing up. it is sturdy and versatile. i would say you really need to think about where you want to put it otherwise you will be putting a lot of holes in your walls in mounting this.

I have this mounted to my garage where I make videos and take photos for posting online. I find it to be a handy thing to have around, with this I don't have to worry about always having a tripod and do not have to keep repositioning one. Takes up a lot less room too. It is strong enough to hold my EOS T6 with a field monitor and a light or a video camera, field monitor, teleprompter and light. Great for just adding some additional light. I use with my 27" x 20" soft lightbox. When not in use, it can be collapsed and fold back against the wall.

Holds my ring light mounted on the wall with no problem! I love that the mount eliminates the hassle of yet another light stand cluttering the floor! Works GREAT!! Very adjustable. Well made and high quality.It was easy to install and included all required hardware. Also, it looks way more expensive than it is, which is a nice plus! It looks very high end and custom in my studio!

I don't know what I expected but this mount was of a much higher quality than I anticipated it to be. The only real complaint I have is that the directions are a little less than clear. I was able to figure it out after messing around for a while, so not the end of the world.This thing is heavy duty, not some cheapo, flimsy wall mount. It's build well and built durable. There is also a hinge on the mount so you can move your ring light side to side, so that was a nice touch. You can also change the angle of the mount by adjusting the bar that forms the triangle, as well as extend the boom out a good distance. While heavy duty, it is still light enough that you are not going to struggle to get it mounted, and the weight should not be an issue.Comes with all the hardware you need to get it up and running. Overall a pleasant surprise that exceeded all of my expectations.
