The Lumary Smart Water Timer is a decent option for automating your garden's watering schedule, but it does come with a few quirks. Setting it up was fairly straightforward, and I appreciated the dual-zone feature, allowing me to manage two separate areas with different watering needs. The app provides flexibility with scheduling and manual controls, which is handy. However, the app interface can be a bit clunky and occasionally displays false error messages, which can be confusing. Additionally, while the device itself feels sturdy, I had to use plumber's tape to prevent leaks at the hose connection. Overall, it gets the job done, but there's room for improvement.

Great water timer! The device was amazingly easy to install - I'm talking less than 1-minute! The app is very intuitive and has and has an appealing user interface. Functions as promised, highly recommend!

I really like this. I plug in a gateway inside and put batteries in the hose timer. I downloaded the app and connected it. Setup wasn't too bad. It took some time for the app to see the gateway, but right when it saw the gateway and I connected it to my wifi, It also found the hose timer automatically too.I can set it to do everything from my phone. There's no screen on it, but it can be manually turned on and off with the button. It works great. I have mine going 3 days a week. I get to choose the days of the week, the length etc. I can set different timers on different days if I want. I can do the regular soak or the soak pause soak type. I just do the turn on for 45 minutes, turn off type. I can pause for rain. I can start it even if I'm not home, as long as it's connected to wifi. I love that I can just start it from my couch or my work desk.

This works great to keep my fountain pool topped off. We are gone on long trips often and I can check the water level via security camera, then use the app to turn the water on to keep it full so the pump doesn’t run dry. The smart world is wonderful! Great value and easy to use. Seems very well made. Love it!

I like the look and feel of this timer. There's a lot of options including the ability to skip watering if it's raining. It will even tell you if there is no water flow through the line! It connects to wifi too, so control is easy if you want to water at any given time. I found the app a bit difficult to program though. I simply wanted to turn on the water flow at 6am for 10 minutes and at 6PM for 10 minutes. I could see how to set up a repeating schedule, but could not figure out how to easily turn it on at a specific time for a specific duration. I ended up having to set four 'scenes' to do this. That's my only complaint about the product.

I got this because we currently use several battery WiFi howe timers. We have to change batteries usually a couple times a year, and to control them remotely requires a separate wifi hub.I liked that this has wifi built in, and includes a built in solar panel to charge the internal battery.The body twists to adjust the angle of the panel. The side is hard to twist, and it locks securely into place to ensure it won’t move out of position on its own.When twisted, a USC-C charging port is revealed between the sections which is covered by a rubber plug to seal it from rain/debris.The timer accessories include teflong tape to secure connections, a quick connect fitting, and a standard thread adapter, all a bonus.The Lumary app works well, the timer was easy to connect to my wifi. It has standard watering options, includes watering history, and includes a building in flow meter to measure amount watered.It even knows if the main valve is closed, or another reason, that prevents any water from flowing and will inform you.This is a great alternative to what I’m currently using!
