We needed to make a custom-length extension cord for a string of beer signs in our home bar because we didn't want to have to attach two shorter extension cords together or get one that was too long for the space and end up with a bunch of extra cord to try and hide. These were a perfect way to make an extension cord of exact length out of appropriate wire and have five plugs exactly along the cord where we needed them. The results look great. The wiring is very neat and nearly unnoticeable. The only issue we had with installing them on the main cord was getting them clamped on tight enough to make good electrical contact. The gage of wire we used was the same size these plugs are rated for, but it was a very tight fit on some of the plugs. Some went on easier than others, so maybe the tolerances for the wire gap are inconsistent. An easy solution is to carefully shave off a tiny bit of the main wire insulation so it fits better, but you shouldn't have to do that if the plug channel was a smidge wider. Nonetheless, we're very happy with how the project turned out and I would definitely use the leftover ones for other similar purposes.

Super simple to install and use. Couldn't be happier with how they worked! Would absolutely buy these again if I needed vampire plugs!
