The best part about this timer is that there is no battery. The water flow controls the timing movement. The timer has a setting that allows you to have the water on without using the timer function. Heavy duty plastic and nothing to rust. I use it often, and so far it's good.

I bought this timer last year after leaving my sprinkler on for entirely too long (thanks ADHD). This year I used it twice and my husband came home to water pouring out the back of it because the plastic "welds" let loose and blew out the back. Probably spent more on wasted water than I did on this timer.

I had 1 out of 4 that wouldn't shut off. Not bad when they were like 7 bucks each. price has almost doubled since then, reason why I didn't give it 5 stars. Well I guess its time to try a new one out.

i ordered more than one of these on June 7th..2 of the 3 i ordered have already quit...just found out my sprinkler has been running since yesterday because the timer quit working.. they worked great for a couple of months but now 2 of the 3 have quit.. I usually get a couple of years from the other brand..orbit.
