The M-D Easy-install Aluminum and Vinyl CINCH® Self-adhesive Door Sweep features a triple-fin vinyl seal for protection from drafts, moisture, dust, and insects. I affixed these vertically to my solids steel gates to close the peephole slat where they meet up with the post. This dark brown blends well on the black steel, looks professional, and adds just that ounce of extra privacy. They've endured hot southwest USA heat and sun for over 6 months and show no deterioration. Not exactly an orthodox usage, but it works.

I received bent product which is unfortunately useless since the sticking part is metal and needs to be straight in order to apply on straight door surface.

It makes a tight seal at the bottom, but I think I cut it too short on the sides - it's difficult to cut, but very easy to stick on and stays on. Overall, great purchase. Home depot wanted $40 bucks for one that you had to screw in - which required drilling holes. THEN they wanted $50 more bucks to install just this piece! Their product is just as good and great price for the product. I would purchase again.

Easy to install.The M3 stick system is holding great so far.Easy to cut to match the door's length.It must have took me longer to take the door off and putting back on than to install this seal. Done in 5 minutes.CONS: This particular color is essentially Black even though it advertises as Brown. Only the thin metal base is a very dark brown and the plastic sweep itself is straight Black so it essentially looks like a black seal once installed. I wish they would have a straight up Brown version.

Excellent door seal. Really works well with my iron door and matches it perfectly. The description says brown but the true color is black like the picture. If you have an iron door and are wondering whether this will stick to it, it does and does so very well! I'm glad I bought it and now I don't have cold air coming in from the bottom of the door keeping our house nice and warm.

First, the product is advertised as being 2.8 inches tall - something I specifically wanted after measuring the gap in my door. After going to install it, having it not fit, and measuring, the product turned out to be 2 inches tall. Second, the adhesive was pretty much worthless, it detached from the metal while cutting the piece, then didn't stick to the door. Avoid this product.

They do what they're intended for very well. However, the brown was black, and the item came bent in the box. It's very difficult to get it perfectly straight, but it didn't bother me.

The vinyl was a bit too flimsy for it to be any use for me. The idea is good to not have to drill any holes, and if the adhesive sticks well, it would be an easy installation. Unfortunately, because of its flimsiness, I had to go with another product and still had to drill holes to install, and I had to return this item.

I bought this weather strip for our back door, which was showing light through from the crack in between the door and threshold. It took a couple of minutes to measure and cut the stripping and then a few more seconds to stick it on. It has held up well over the past few months with frequent daily use and has been a veryeffective barrier against the cold air that was making our back landing cold.
