As the owner of a elderly cat who always tries to gulp her food too quickly, I've been trying a few different styles of slow-feed bowl.These bowls are great - they're pretty wide, 6.25" by my measurements, but also pretty shallow, so there's less whisker stress. The molded-in features are smooth, and offer lots of channels for food pieces to move. They've definitely helped slow my cat's eating down, but she's not as frustrated by that as with some deeper bowls we tried. These are also very easy to clean, and having 3 means I can give her a fresh bowl every day.I'm using these in an elevated feeder, so I haven't added the silicone feet, but each bowl comes with a strip of 6 adhesive feet to keep them from sliding around. I definitely recommend these if you've got scarf-and-barfers or just need to slow your cat's eating down for whatever reason.

My cat, Rigby, eats every meal like he's been starving on a desert island for days, & I just don't get it lol he eats every meal so fast that he often winds up throwing up within an hour of meal time (especially after wet meals), & I could NOT get him to slow down. I tried to feed him from a spoon at first but he'd just get too excited to wait, & even demanding lol (he'd be climbing up my legs/arms to get at the can), so finding a slow feeder for him was top of my to-do list lol I'm SO glad I found these! They're MUCH better quality than I was even expecting; they seem to be super durable, & the perfect size for a cat. I love the colors, too :) altho, I will say, the two blue-ish green ones look ALMOST the same exact color to my naked eye (but in pics I can KINDA see a slight shade difference). No biggie, though! Cuz the colors are still super nice & the bowls are working even better than I had imagined! At first, I think Rigby was a little irritated but after like the 3rd meal he ate out of one of these, he got over it lol it has definitely forced him to eat slower & I don't have to clean up icky throw up anymore...that's a WIN in my book! Lol & the fact that you get 3 is SUCH a great value - perfect for those with multiple cats (I only have one but I do like to wash his bowls everyday, & it's nice to have a couple spares so he can still eat while I'm cleaning the old one). I honestly couldn't recommend these more :)

Ce lot de 3 assiettes anti-glouton semble de bonne qualité, la surface est lisse et douce, et ne blessera pas la langue fragile des chats.Elles sont par ailleurs jolies avec leurs coloris pastels et passent au lave-vaisselle, ce qui est bien pratique et permet d'assurer une hygiène rigoureuse au coin repas de vos chats !Si vous êtes aussi maladroit.e que moi, la mélamine aura par ailleurs le bon goût de résister aux chutes et chocs.Je les ai testées avec des croquettes, et j'ai pu constater que les obstacles en forme de bananes ralentissaient bien la prise alimentaire de mon chat (en surpoids comme beaucoup de chat vivant en intérieur), mieux même que celle que je possède déjà, en silicone. Peut-être le côté glissant de la mélamine ajoute-t-il une difficulté de préhension supplémentaire là où le silicone retient les croquettes contre sa matière et aide un peu le chat !L'emballage en revanche est rudimentaire, en provenance directe de Chine, et ne mentionne aucune norme CE ni la composition, qui est heureusement indiquée dans le descriptif Amazon et se devine au toucher. C'est un peu dommage pour le prix du produit, mais c'est le seul bémol que j'émettrais.

Ich habe das 3er-Set Slow-Feeder-Näpfe für meine drei Katzen bestellt und bin sehr zufrieden. Das blumenförmige Design ohne scharfe Kanten ist nicht nur hübsch, sondern auch sicher für die Katzen. Der robuste Kunststoff wirkt hochwertig, und die Näpfe lassen sich leicht reinigen.Dank der rutschfesten Unterseite bleiben sie beim Fressen an Ort und Stelle. Besonders angenehm: Das Design stört die empfindlichen Schnurrhaare nicht. Zwar fressen zwei meiner Katzen damit nicht deutlich langsamer, aber sie sind immerhin etwas länger beschäftigt als mit herkömmlichen Näpfen.Klare Kaufempfehlung.

These dishwasher-safe slow feeder bowls can be placed on top of other bowls so that the animal is eating slower and at a more ergonomic height, which reduces vomiting. They are quite wide, which is nice for cats who may have whisker sensitivity (not liking to brush their whiskers against the sides of a bowl). I prefer the slow feeders that have a built-in base so they're raised up, but these are equally effective if they can be placed on top of something to make them the right height. If they are just placed on the ground, the angle might still induce some vomiting, though it would still slow down the eating process, which is half the battle.

These are a nice quality Melamine Slow Feeder Cat Bowls - much heavier weight than I expected they would be for the price. I was a bit skeptical whether this slow feeder design would actually work. I have 3 young cats and two of them had been devouring their meals like a vacuum cleaner. The third one is a daintier eater but the other two often stole food from her plate. But I have found that it really does slow down the other two to eat at a more reasonable pace so don't have to stand there play referee. So give it a try if you have cats that are really quick eaters.

"Hara hachi bun me" is a Japanese phrase that basically says "Eat until you are eight parts (out of ten) full" - This is a philosophy that has served the Okinawans for centuries and it is something I learned in my diabetes groups as well. That by slowing down your eating and pausing before eating the whole meal, allows your body time to get full and leads to less obesity and overeating.When my current kitty was born, he was one in a litter of five and I believe he was sort of the runt of the litter, because when I adopted him, he ate like his food was going to escape. He even vomited a few times because of gorging too fast on the dry food and then drinking water, which caused the full belly's food to bloat up and cause discomfort, leading to the regurgitation. I mitigated that by alternating his dry and wet food throughout the day, as well as breaking his meals into 3 small amounts instead of just the two feedings I normally do.So I was very happy when i got these bowls yesterday. My cat took 20 minutes to finish his dinner, when normally, he would inhale his food and be done before I even had a chance to wash his old bowl. He didn't seem upset about the extra work in getting all the food and, in fact, he was even more playful and active than normal, that evening.The box had three of these bowls and you have to put your own rubber feed on them (if you wish) The rubber feet come on the original tape and you just peel them off and put them on the base of the bowls. They give you way more than you actually need. The bowls themselves are very sturdy. I honestly feel I could toss them out the window and off the road, and they still wouldn't break.

Hace poco adquirí un pack de tres comederos lentos para mis gatos, y en general la experiencia ha sido muy buena. Los comederos son todos iguales pero muy bonitos, en forma de flor redondeada sin esquinas que puedan ocasionar lesiones a los gordis, lo que los hace no solo funcionales sino también visualmente atractivos. Son ideales para quienes buscan un accesorio bonito y práctico para sus gatos.Lo que más me gustó:Diseño atractivo:Diseño moderno y agradable a la vista. Combinan bien con espacios claros y se ven muy bien en la zona de comida.Fáciles de lavar: Se limpian con mucha facilidad. No tienen rincones complicados y pueden lavarse a mano o en lavavajillas sin problemas.Material resistente: Están fabricados con un plástico grueso y duradero que da buena sensación de calidad.Antideslizantes: Cuentan con almohadillas en la base que realmente funcionan. No se mueven mientras los gatos comen, lo cual es un punto a favor importante.Amigables con los bigotes: El diseño está bien pensado y no interfiere con los bigotes, lo cual evita molestias comunes con comederos más profundos o angostos.A tener en cuenta:Tamaño un poco grande: Los comederos son algo amplios, lo cual puede ser ideal para gatos medianos o grandes, pero si tienes gatos pequeños o con espacio limitado en casa, es algo que vale la pena considerar.No ralentiza mucho la comida en nuestro caso: Aunque están pensados para hacer que los gatos coman más lento, en mi experiencia, mis gatos han logrado adaptarse bastante rápido y no se ha notado una gran diferencia en el tiempo que tardan en comer. Aun así, les mantiene entretenidos un poco más que un plato convencional. También es cierto que dependerá de la cantidad de comida que se introduzca en el mismo.Diseños iguales: No hay diferencias entre los tres comederos y todos disponen del mismo grado de dificultad. Habría sido un plus contar con diferentes detalles para hacer la experiencia más diverida. Pero de nuevo, no es un punto importante de cara a calidad / funcionalidad.Conclusión:Este pack de comederos lentos es una excelente opción si buscas algo resistente, bonito y fácil de mantener. Aunque en nuestro caso no ha logrado ralentizar demasiado la comida, sigue siendo una buena inversión por su calidad, comodidad para los gatos y el diseño que encaja muy bien en cualquier hogar

I got these because my cat was eating way too fast and throwing up almost every other day and it was getting messy and frustrating. These bowls have helped a ton because he actually has to slow down now thanks to the little maze design and ever since we started using them no more puking. The set comes with three which is nice for rotation and the colors are soft and clean looking. They feel sturdy and the material is smooth and safe with nothing sharp that could hurt his nose or mouth. I stuck the included anti slip pads on the bottom and they stay in place really well on our tile floor. They’re also wide enough that he can eat without squishing his whiskers and they work great for both dry and wet food. Honestly they’ve made mealtime a lot less chaotic and way easier to clean up after.

Through trial and error, we've discovered that one of our cats just inhales his dry food too quickly and throws up; no issue with his wet food, not sure what's up with that. We have tried several different styles of slow feeders and food puzzles to figure out what would work to slow him down, but also not be so difficult that he gives up (which is what happened with the food puzzles). Of all the things we tried, the ceramic bowl that was shaped exactly like these, bananas and all, was what worked best so we were looking to get some more bowls so that we could have clean ones out while the dirty ones were in the dishwasher.At time of writing, this set is $18 for 3 bowls. This is great! That's only a few dollars more than what we paid for one single ceramic bowl! These melamine bowls are heavy enough that they don't slide around when our cats are eating (unless our cats are being contrary and batting things off on purpose, but that's a "them" problem, not a "these bowls" problem).I admit that I didn't bother putting the little rubbery feet on the bottom of these bowls since I didn't think they would last long in the dishwasher, but it was a nice touch for them to include the feet for anyone who might want them. They were a little dusty upon arrival, but I had been planning on putting them the dishwasher first anyways and would recommend that everyone else receiving these do the same, just to take care of any dust or whatever they may have accumulated on the way to you. They hold up fine in the dishwasher and can just be put in there like any other bowl. I love it!
