Every time I buy a Microjig tool, I seem to always feel it's a tiny bit overpriced, UNTIL I have it in hand, and then I remember the quality offsets the small premium, in price. These are no exception, even for such a small item, they just drip quality. The composite materials, are not just cheap plastic, they are a very strong material hard enough to actually clink like metal if you tap them together.. The threads on the studs are clean and spin beautifully freely, and the knobs are easy to grip..It's little touches like this, that make most of their products a true pleasure to use. I just have to keep trying to get it through my head, that sometimes saving a few bucks with an inferior brand isn't always the best move.

These dovetail bolts, nuts and knobs are exactly as described. That said, the 10-32 bolt size is simply too small to be practical for real world applications. I'm transitioning to 1/4-20 bolts and nuts that you can find on 3D printer hobby-sites -- if you're up to searching a while on the internet and can find someone to print the nuts. These fantastic little components assist in making all kinds of jigs and custom clamping setups! If you're not using the Microjig Match Fit Dove Tail System in your shop, it's time you start.....

I built a Jointing Jig from Baltic Birch plywood for use on the Table Saw. I also made my own clamping bars out of a scrap of Oak. On All my previous jigs requiring a hold-down I chose the T-Track method. After slightly pulling out the screws fastening the T-Track one time, I decided to go with the dovetail method for the first time. Wow, this worked out great. The Microjig Matchfit Dovetail hardware worked fantastic. I cut most of the dovetails on my old Craftsman Router Table. The three center cross-cut dovetails had to be cut with my Milwaukee trim router. Using a 1/2" 14° cutter, set to 3/8" deep, all the slots came out fine. The Matchfit hardware fits like a glove. You can't beat the price either. Six sets of hardware for $16 is well worth it.I very happy with this purchase.

Wanted to make a couple of simple jigs for the table saw and decided to try this hardware instead of the dovetail clamps. The jigs that I made are much lighter, smaller, adaptable and easier to work with than the typical jigs that I make. Almost as important, the jigs are easier to store in a crowded workshop. These units are so inexpensive that I decided to not knock down the jigs after their use and to purchase additional sets. The bolts come in a few sizes and it is best to determine the appropriate length when purchasing. It is minor, but still frustrating, to have the taller bolts get in the way of using the jig. Highly recommended.

I am committed to the MatchFit Dovetail clamping ecosystem and enjoy the advantages of the various clamping jigs you can make for it. As a result, however, I will be investing in their hardware and clamps for the foreseeable future. These dovetail bolts are great for jigs and fixtures around my shop, but they are expensive for what they are.The Matchfit™ system is a great alternative to traditional T tracks, and has numerous advantages, but the system is more expensive than the alternatives.
