Not comfortable for what it's meant for. Nope. Tried it on the airplane in the car. Multiple people tried it from a small woman to a large man. Doesn't work. Tried multiple positions or ways of using. Nope.

The Modern Advantage Inflatable Travel Pillow makes my flights so much more comfortable. The innovative built-in hood adds a cozy, private feel—great for blocking out cabin light and distractions. I love how compact it is when deflated, yet it offers solid neck support once inflated. The adjustable firmness let me dial in just the right comfort level. Easily one of my new travel essentials!

i've been searching for a comfortable pillow/head support for an upcoming international flight. we will be limited on carry on weight and space so love that this is inflatable and is very lightweight. it is also easy to inflate once you're on the plane. i like that you can adjust how much air you put in, so you can adjust based on your preferences. i love that it comes with a built in hood so i dont have to bring a separate hoodie/scarf for sleeping on the plane. we've tested this in the car and it works well there too. looking forward to using this on the flight.

We bought different brands, after comparing, this one is much comfortable than other brand. It holds air well. Any we love it and buy second one.

I like the fact that this is inflatable, so that it can easily pack down nice and flat in my carry on. It's easy to inflate with just a couple of full breaths. Because you inflate it yourself, you can adjust the firmness of the pillow to your liking. The cover material is soft next to the skin and doesn't irritate my neck. It has a drawstring which you tighten once you pull the pillow on over your head. The drawstring is adjustable so you can make the pillow as tight as you like around your neck. But the drawstring is the only feature that I find a little awkward. You have to pull the whole pillow on over your head because of how the drawstring is attached.Overall, I've found that the pillow supports my head and neck well enough - none of these kinds of pillows are great for me, but this is one of the better ones. For me, it worked best when I was sitting next to a window and could lean against the wall of the plane. I personally also like the hood that it comes with. I do normally travel wearing a hoodie because I like to pull the hood up and over my eyes when I want to sleep. Since this comes with a hood, I no longer need to limit myself to wearing hoodies on the plane.

This works remarkably well in a wide range of positions.I have tried a large number of different types of neck pillows since an injury and was very skeptical of this because it was inflatable and wasn't shaped like the others. It happens to be the best I've ever tried.I am a large person and find that most one size fits all neck pillows are too small for me. This fit me very well and my family too. With this pillow I generally prefer having the long legs horizontal aimed forward and short legs aimed down my back if sitting upright against a backrest. However I use it in many different body and pillow positions. My wife, much smaller, prefers it upside down, short legs up. Child wears it with short legs horizontal and long legs aimed down the chest with arms hugging it.Because of injury I spend a lot of time in the prone position. This makes a fairly good face pillow if you have a couple pillows or a blanket stuffed under your chest. The crossmember against forehead and either set of legs against cheeks depending how high your head needs to be.The fabric is quite soft, everywhere. This does not have the uncomfortably sharp PVC seams that most inflatables have. They exist, but only inside the sewn integral fabric cover. The plastic seams cannot be felt in use.The tie string wont choke you and is long enough and adjustable to place it at a comfortable height to hold in your hand while you sleep. The weight of my hand applies a slight stretch to the neck that feels good when I wake up.There is a well placed pocket on the side, out of the way from everything, which holds a tethered pair of earplugs in a case.A small drawstring pouch holds everything for packing.I like the hood to block out light without touching my eyelashes like a sleepmask does. My wife finds the hood a bit claustrophobic, but easy to remove and replace. And makes for an emergency hand towel should you need one.Inflating had me stumped for a second. Be sure that you are not holding the pillow against the backside of the air valve, that will block air from entering. You can grip the edges of the valve between finger and thumb. There are no detailed pictures of the inflation port in the otherwise well illustrated box and manual. Just shows it being held to lips. And that is really all there is to it. It is a flat round hole. Nothing that you take in your mouth. No bite valve. Just a surface to seal your lips against. It has a quality coil spring check valve for releasing air. It is not a valve I have seen on any other device, but it works quite well. The pillow is small enough and valve good enough that it is easy to inflate by mouth in just 5-7 breaths. It deflates completely in about 5 or 6 seconds if you are pushing in flat.I highly recommend this unexpected gem.

I took this on a trip to Ireland recently and it worked great! I love that it deflates to a very compact size. I had to experiment with getting the right amount of inflation for my comfort (closer to 1/3 inflated felt best to me). The material is super soft! You need to press the tab in with your tongue as you inflate, which took a few tries to figure out but then was easy enough and means that air doesn't escape as you take your next breath. It deflated quickly and easily with a press of the tab and some pressure. I put it on and watched a video, nodding off to sleep after awhile and didn't feel any neck pain when I woke up just as dinner was being served. Great design and value!
