Worked great 2 times then the teeth on it broke and it just slips. Spend the money and save the headache get the Park Tool.

Unfortunately this tool didn’t work for me. When a high torque is required to install a SRAM Dub bb, the 12 notch teeth is just not deep and long enough to cover the entire grooves on the bb causing the tool is slip even with the spring fully loaded and damaged my bb. Will buy a single 12 notch tool that provides more grip for the job.

7-1-24 I have 5 bikes, so one of them is always needing to be fixed, adjusted, and/or upgraded. In my Genesis Villotti, there was a thumping sound coming from the bottom bracket, square tapered, and I already took it apart and greased it weeks ago, so it's not dry. I used the bottom bracket tool to take it off yesterday. It fit fine, without using the stabilizer - (I didn't know what it was at the time, so can't comment on those parts.)

You can't beat having all these bottom bracket sizes in one and the press. That's a lot of tools in one. For the casual home user like me that needs one every once in a while this is a tremendous deal.

If you are the gang's mechanic, and/or switch bikes and building bikes is an addiction for you, this is a must have tool in your arsenal.I already have 3~ Hollowtech/DUB Wrenches, some half-moon styled, a "most commonly sized one" and one that was given to me for a special project, this tool makes them all obsolete and does a better job.The way this tool works makes sliding/marring the bottom bracket almost impossible, it has absolute grip of it and makes a clean and quick job out of it, sure it takes a little bit longer, but it assures that it is properly installed or removed, especially for those stuck/high torque situations, recommended!

This has worked on multiple bottom brackets so far. Its 6061 aluminum so being hardened it has no deforming yet. The tooth edges are a little sharp so careful with scratching the paint such as having a black Shimano bottom bracket. I don't understand the need for a centering tool, it seems faster just to twist a bottom bracket on by hand. The Allen wrench is very big and strong and has a ball end on the long side. This enables being able to provide a good amount of torque for loosening and tightening and also speed on the other side.

the one thing that I don't like about the type of bottom bracket system that this fits is that most of the tools out there are awkward to use and hard to keep them engaged with the nut to prevent damage and ensure proper torque. This one totally solves those problems. It's unique metod of applying even pressure with the pass through bolt and cone, allows the tool to firmly and evenly engage with the bottom bracket nut and allow max torque to be applied without having to work from an awkward angle or without marring the nut. Totally cool tool.
