This latch is sturdy and well made. I like that it has a twist catch and can also be locked with a padlock.

I needed a new lock for my wood gate. This item was perfect. Came with the right size screws and was easy to install. It may have taken me 5 minutes...maybe. I really liked how i could latch the gate with this and didn't have to a separate latch to keep it the gate closed without having to lock it.

This is a basic entry level hasp. It was easy to install. The black finish is actually quite nice and looks like it will hold up well. I gave four stars because this really isn't going to provide any serious security. The provided screws are not deep (3/4 inch), and a basic hammer would probably allow entry to anyone with some determination and a couple of minutes. That said, it keeps the shed door closed, looks nice, and seems likely to last a decent amount of time, so a reasonable value for the money.

After almost a year this device is still working exactly as expected on my outdoor shed. No signs of wear or rust are present. The device was easy to install and works well in conjunction with a padlock.

Works great. Ignore the reviews stating that the screws are exposed and could simply be unscrewed if somebody wanted to break in; that is NOT true. If you install it correctly, as shown in the picture, there are no exposed screws when it is locked/shut.

Easy to install and works great (hardware included). All screws are covered once closed and locked, preventing removal.I'm using this with the new 4401DLH Outdoor Bluetooth Smart Padlock by Master Lock. This lock has a 11/32" diameter shackle that would not fit the hasp that came with my new shed, it works great with this hasp.Can't comment on longevity since it was just installed, but if I have any issues I will update my review.
