This rack makes it easier to test motherboards or try alternative configurations w/o the hassle of having to fit the parts into an enclosure.FEATURES- Pre-threaded holes means that no nuts are required.- Triangular steel gussets add rigidity.- Power switch with a 27" cable.- Large hardware packet.- Added cut-outs allows the option to route drive cables under the deck.- The steel panels are adequately thick, and the instructions are fine.ISSUES- Brass-colored steel standoffs are blunt-ended and hard to insert in the painted-over threads in the deck. Take care not to cross-thread when inserting.- No feet are provided.- It would be helpful if a clip were provided to mount the power switch.

Good open air PC system mount. I am using this open case mount as a mining rig system with 3 video cards.

At the time of ordering, this was about 18 USD, and honestly its a pretty good value. It includes all the screws for assembling the frame, and others for attaching the various parts to the frame. It even has a simple power switch to attach to the motherboard, though it would be nice if the switch has something to clip it to the frame instead of dandling loose. You only need a properly sized Philips Head screwdriver. Mine also included a philips to hex adapter for screwing the motherboard posts in.The frame itself is decently sturdy, I could probably bend it with my bare hands if I put in the effort, though doesn't seem outright flimsy. I do wish it was the metal was slightly thicker. It appears to match other PC cases I own which may be more important form test building though. The biggest issue though is with the included instructions, a single two sided piece of paper that does not make it clear how the frame parts are attached. They also are not clear enough about which screws to use to assemble it. My only clue was that the frame needs 13 screws, and only one of the three screws included were plentiful enough to use in all the pre-threaded holes. It's also a little odd that the power supply attaches above the motherboard instead of below, though it seems the frame is designed to be used with the wider side flat on a surface anyway. If you were planning to install this into a larger case for a custom built PC, the PSU's weight might force you to assemble it upside down if you wanted to set it up tower-style.

You might have to run a tap through some of the holes because they were not cleanly cut. Be very careful when you install the standoff's the motherboard attaches to. They break easily and will leave you with something you have to carefully drill out. Its a little on the flimsy side and it would be much better if made from a thicker gauge metal. An ok value.

I purchased this to use some spare parts I had for my DIY DDR/StepMania setup. It fits an ATX motherboard and ATX PSU perfectly. I specifically purchased this one because it looked more reliable with the side support brackets at this price. It came with a tiny power switch connector, but I had a more functional one for my setup.

Needed an inexpensive open air case temporarily for a Commander X16 board while we waited for the custom case to ship from England. This went together in a few minutes and gave us a great option to place our board for a month. I can certainly see using this in the future to test hardware. Well manufactured, lightweight, and now I have it on hand when needed.
