The Topjum original dumbbell foot attachment is a cost-effective way of doing certain exercises for your legs at home - to be honest it's a bit of a strappy nightmare but once you figure out how to put it on then it's fine but upon getting it and opening the package it was a bit overwhelming with all the straps.I do appreciate that the provided a very detailed instruction booklet that details how you put it on your foot/shoe and then also gives some suggestions on exercises it can be used for, so this was very much appreciated. Quality of the material being used is very good - it's got good stitching, and the Velcro parts are nice and heavy duty so I don't think there will be any issues with seems coming apart etc.The reason's this dumbbell foot attachment is worth getting is because it's great for at home or traveling when you don't have access to machines but need to train your legs, hamstrings, knees, hips and so on - you can do exercises like hamstring curls, hip extensions, leg extensions, RDL's etc. - it doesn't take up a lot of space for good for traveling.I do wish I had gotten the 2pk because I find having to change it out if a bit of a pain but that was my mistake not the product - overall this is a very cost-effective method compared to some other alternatives, and I like the portability factor to this one with it not taking up much room - would for sure recommend it.

Started doing weighted hip exercises and have never felt stronger. The straps are durable and do not feel awkward when using. Great addition to workouts, rehab exercises, etc.

My friend always speaks wonderfully of Monkey Feet for his workouts at home, so I decided to try a similar product to see how it works. It is compact and seems to be well made, also at a very reasonable price. The first time it was a little difficult for me to understand how to place the straps; I had the weight in a strange position and the velcro did not fit well. But once I adjusted it, it was very easy to use. The instructions that come are easy to follow, it was more my mistake than anything else.I started with a weight of 10 pounds, thinking it would be easy, but I felt an immediate burning, which was great to feel the work on the muscles. They include a QR code to scan and get exercise ideas, although with a quick search on Google you can also find a lot of useful information. The weight was well secured on my foot and I didn't feel it slip or fall, although at first it was a little uncomfortable to put on the harness and get up, but I soon got used to it.

I love this dumbbell foot attachment! It’s been a fantastic addition to my home workouts, especially for targeting my hips, hamstrings, and calves. The adjustable ankle straps fit comfortably and stay secure during exercises like leg extensions and hamstring curls.

Horrible quality. The first time I wore it with a 10 lb weight one of the buckles bent and the strap fell off. Don’t waste your money.

I had been wanting to purchase Monkey Feet and other similar types of foot connectors for a while but didn't want to spend the amount on it. These are great budget alternative that works if you are using no more than 25lbs on them.Like may others, I had a bit of confusion putting them on based on the tiny instruction card. But there's a QR code that takes you to the much more helpful YouTube video. When you do it once, you'll understand.Make sure you strap them in tight so there's little wiggle room for the weights. Other than that, this product did the job beautifully as I performed leg extensions, and hamstring curls. I was able to attach 30lbs for a leg extension and it held up well. As you strap the feet in last, it was also easy to switch between feet during sets.I'd highly recommend these to anyone looking for a low cost alternative to Monkey Feet.

This dumbbell strap is a really effective way to do hamstring curls or leg extensions at home if you don't have a hamstring machine or a leg extension machine. With the dumbbell attached to the bottom of your foot, the lever is lengthened, making the exercise way more difficult than when the same movement is done on a machine. On a machine, for hamstring curls, the pad goes against the back of your ankle. For quad extensions, the pad goes on top of your ankle. In both cases, this is a shorter lever length for the load, thus enabling you to use a heavier weight. Using this strap, I have to use significantly lighter weight.I had trouble figuring out how to set up this contraption. The instruction leaflet had very cryptic illustrations which were of no help at all. Here's how you set it up:1. Use the widest strap to wrap around the dumbbell. This strap is way longer than necessary, but maybe that is because that length of velcro is needed so that the dumbbell has no chance of falling off.2. Place your foot on top of the handle of the dumbbell, as if you were stepping on it.3. Fasten one strap over top the arch of your foot. I found it best to move my foot forward as much as possible so that the strap is as close to my ankle as I can get it.4. Fasten the other strap behind your heel. This strap does NOT go around your ankle. It goes BEHIND the ankle.Once everything is strapped in snugly, it's very securely attached, and there really isn't any play or movement in the dumbbell while doing an exercise. At home, I usually work out in my bare feet, but I recommend either wearing shoes or socks with this strap, as the edge of the velcro strap was digging into the skin on the top of my foot and it felt quite scratchy and irritating. This device should not be described as an ankle strap, as no part of it goes around your ankle. It also should not be described as an ankle weight, as you cannot walk around with this strapped to your foot. You only get one of these devices with each order, so you can only work out one leg at a time. This device is very similar in function to a more expensive device called "Monkey Feet." Monkey Feet are way more expensive but also superior in function (they use clamps and they rachet closed), but this TOPJUM device is a very effective low-cost way to achieve the same result. The TOPJUM device also takes little room to store.I'm quite pleased with this device. It provides a good way to do exercises that I otherwise would not be able to do at home.

Little clumsy to use the first time, this comes flat packed and all strapped to itself which is fine but made for a bit of a confusing set up. I admit, I was a little stumped for a bit trying to line this up and figure out how the straps were supposed to go. Once it was ready to go, the actual use is very straightforward. You absolutely need to wear shoes to make this fit properly.I use this mostly for kick backs but the applications are pretty endless. I love that it's adjustable so I'm not the only person in my household that can use this. The velcro makes it super convenient to use with whatever weights you have and easy to switch between. The velcro is heavy duty! Ultra strong grip that won't come undone during use or until you want it to, there's no chance of this popping open during a workout, even with a heavy weight pulling on it.Would definitely recommend. Will have to get another so we have multiple in the house when we want to work out together. Great addition to our home gym.

A friend of mine has been going on about Monkey Feet for his home workouts, so I thought I’d try a similar product to see how it works. It’s compact and seems well constructed at a good price point. It took me a bit to figure out the straps the first time - I had the weight positioned strangely and the velcro wasn’t lining up properly - but once I sorted it out, it was easy to use. The instructions included are not hard to follow, it was user error on my part. I started with a 10 lb weight, thinking that would be easy, but I could immediately feel a burn. There’s a QR code included to scan and get exercise ideas, though I think a quick google search would provide the same. The weight was secured well on my foot and didn’t feel like it was slipping or falling, though getting into the harness the first time and standing up was awkward, but didn’t take long to get used to. I have fairly average sized 7/8 women’s feet and the straps fit me well - I’m not sure how they would fit for someone with very large or wide feet. I'm looking forward to using this on a regular basis and seeing if it can hold up to more weight as I get stronger. Overall I think this will be a versatile and easy to use tool to add to my home gym.
