I own the UB820 and the play quality is amazing! My only criticism of the 820 is that it's fairly expensive and made of plastic. I don't like the front drop down window to gain access to opening the player for disc insertion. I consequently saved my money to upgrade to the UB9000 which is extremely expensive, but metal framing, etc. and much better build quality. I watched Amazon for months and found an offer for a refurbished model for a great price. However, when I received it (advertised in "new" condition) it wouldn't play one of my 4k movies without extreme pixilation. I had to jump through Amazon hoops and deal with a 3rd party for resolution. Unfortunately they would not replace the player with another one (same condition or better) and gave me the only option of returning it. So in the end I lost out on the great price. I guess you get what you pay for, but it was a very frustrating experience to have to deal with and ultimately get nothing out of it. (NOTE: a brand new one may work just fine. I'm just giving my experience with a refurbished one)
