To the point… it’s beautifully made, smooth to the touch, has a beautiful timbre, and is a perfect addition to my Meinl Cajon. I used a velcro strip to attache it to the Cajon, so it pops right on & off when putting the Cajon in its case for gigs. Sounds very much like a snare drum rim shot. I love it and recommend it highly. Also, it is reasonably priced. Enjoy!
