Simple to use, tests chlorine and Ph. Exactly what I needed. I didn't realize my old test kit was expired.

15 thousand gallons pool. Thus far, this little kit has been the only thing I had need to keep my pool sparkling blue 💎

This is a simple and accurate way to test both ph and chlorine in our hot tub. And it’s cheaper than strips.

Arrived broken, and hydrochloric acid was spilled everywhere. Feels very flimsy.

This is a well-made, basic yet accurate test kit.I have been using this to maintain my Intex 8' pool, which I've had for a couple a years. This is the first year I've left the pool up for more than three days.I did need to spend an hour or so to research basic pool water care on the web, which was time well invested. The test strips that came with the pool care kit I bought last year are pretty useless, as well as almost all of the chemicals that came with it. Now all I use is bleach, borax, and this test kit.Other less expensive test kits all seemed to get bad reviews, so I tried this one. It's very simple to use - simply dunk the two-vial assembly in the pool, flick off the extra water, add drops, cap and shake, then read. Comparing the colors does take a bit of practice - I found I needed to hold the vials up in front of the white card, and to get just the right light. Afterwards, I dump the test kit contents, and then rinse the kit out in the pool.I compared the pH reading with my aquarium test kit several times, and got the same reading.Chlorine readings go up to 3.0; if you need levels higher than this, for say a small pool with a lot of kids, then you might want something else.
