The only complaint I have with this is that the battery life is very short. We've been charging it every 2 days. It does tell you on the app what the battery percentage is at, at least. It was easy to set up and create the wireless fence. Shock is adjustable and the collar fits easily. Our dog is 65lbs and we had to cut the collar short, so you should have no problem with a bigger or smaller dog. We are very happy to have it because our lab jumps the 6ft fence and runs off. This has allowed us to create a good boundary so she can be in both the front and back yard (we spend a lot of time on the front deck) without leaving the yard. Overall, this was a great purchase for us.

The PetSafe Guardian GPS 2.0 Dog Fence + Tracking system promises peace of mind for dog owners, offering a wireless containment solution combined with real-time GPS tracking. This system allows you to create virtual boundaries for your dog using an intuitive app, with the collar providing tone, vibration, or static corrections if your dog approaches or crosses the set perimeter. A key feature is the "AccuGuard" technology, which reportedly uses dual-frequency GPS, AI, and real-time motion detection for enhanced accuracy and reliability, even in areas with some tree cover. The collar itself is designed to be smaller and lighter than previous versions, fitting dogs with neck sizes as small as 8 inches and suitable for most breeds weighing 10 lbs and above. It's waterproof, rechargeable (with up to 70 hours of battery life), and quick to set up via the My PetSafe app, where you can also store multiple custom fence locations for use at home or on the go. It's worth noting that a subscription is required for the full functionality, including real-time tracking and alerts. Great value though.

Exactly what we were looking for and so easy to set up. Made being outside with our young Golden Retriever so much more relaxing knowing he would not head towards the road near our home. We purchased this after using the same PetSafe wireless system for the last 13 years! Only upgraded to have the tracking.

I've played around with these GPS collars for a couple of years especially the cheaper ones and even though this one is definitely not cheap at 499 the price is a bit ridiculous but I got to say it works very very well. Like I said I've had experience with the GPS colors in a 200 dollars or less and they pretty much are trash because the GPS loses its function when your pet comes into the house. And that usually means buzzing beeping and or shocked to your dog. They also don't track so well outside but with this collar you have GPS Wi-Fi and Bluetooth tracking your truck so it covers your bases when your dog's inside and covers your bases when the dogs outside. I have five acres and I've got to say the setting of the fences on this collar is ridiculously simple. You can really do this fence in like a minute or two and then you can adjust it at will on the Fly and it works flawlessly. Right now I'm getting about 36 hours from the collar per charge I have a Britney Spaniel and she's very active I did have a wireless system through PetSmart which worked well but because of the battery situation on those you generally will get a dog that escapes the boundaries and in the case of my Brittany Spaniel she just didn't care about the shock she just ran as hard as she could got past it and she was free. She has tested this system and you have the ability to ramp up the sound the shock and the vibration and I'm pleased to say that she's learned her lesson the other thing that's really nice is that if your dog's outside or you see them doing something you don't want this system allows you to push you a little button and I usually just give her a little sound and she comes right back to the house. Like I said other than the pricing the system works very well. Now I do like the app I do think that it could use you know a little bit of tweaking very simple almost too simple and you know the monthly subscription just comes along with this it's also more pricey but if you love your pets I have two other dogs and I will be buying two more callers

I like that this is from a well known brand as I also use PetSafe harnesses. I think the monthly fee is competitive and what I expect. The initial price of the GPS collar is a big investment. I have another no-name GPS tracker that was a fraction of the cost. They offer similar features like GPS fence and GPS tracking through cellular connectivity. The PetSafe one is worn as a collar, and my other one straps onto a collar or harness strap. I like the flexibility of the latter one over the collar. The app is easy to use and navigate. It updated both the power adater and collar the first time it connected.I think the power adapter is a little oddly shaped and difficult to plug in. I would prefer if the collar just had a USB-C plug but that would make it less water resistant. My other GPS tracker also has a similar magnetic charger. The LEDs on the collar have many different colors and meanings based on flashing or solid. I would have liked it if the LED decoder were printed on the collar instead of having to look it up in the manual.I don't really like the collar strap. It's a thin rubber coated strap and the collar slides around on it when my dog is wearing it. It requires cutting the strap to size so it doesn't dangle but it still sticks out a little even when cut. I also worry if I cut it too short and can't replace it. The collar doesn't have a D-ring so I also have to put on a regular collar or harness in addition to the tracker. The tracker has prongs for shocking, but I don't use that function and just use it for GPS.I would like it if the tracker could attach to a harness or standard collar.
