How to find a replacement cartridge for your pool or spa?
If the filter you are trying to replace has a part number on the end caps, you can simply search the part number on our product page to see whether the filter is compatible.
If the part number is not available, make note of the manufacturer(OEM) Brand & OEM part number and do a search on our product page to see if you can find a replacement.
1. Measure the outside diameter of the cartridge in inches (+/- 8-15/16" inch)
2. Measure cartridge length from end cap to end cap (+/- 23-5/16" inch). Exclude any handles or extensions.
3. Identify the correct top and bottom type. If the top and/or bottom is open, measure the inside diameter of the opening (+/- 8-15/16" inch). If the end cap is closed make note of its identifying features.
4. Make note of the manufacturer and model number of the filter into which the replacement cartridge will be installed.
5. Take note whether or not there is a center core (PVC pipe in center).

After 6 weeks of use the plastic straps that hold pleats open to collect debris are coming loose. I was trying to save money. I should of purchased Haywards filter.

Cross bands that hold the filter element together is coming apart after only a couple weeks of use.

We have been averaging a couple of years out of these filters by simply deep cleaning them with a high-pressure nozzle every few months to keep them clean of debris and working properly. They are a high-quality replacement for the OEM Hayward filters of this size. There is no sacrifice with this product over the OEM filters given the quality of the product all while saving you money compared to the Hayward OEM filters.

Works well, but starts to wear down after a few thourough rinses.since my pool was dirty i had to rinse 4 times in in 2 week. I started noticing small frays and tears und low ro moderate pressure rensine with water only. Returned to selker with no problems.
