These are very nice scrubbers. Great value for the price.

We have a pebble-tec surface. It is good at harboring dirt. But it's also very rough on Polaris tail scrubbers. So we go through a LOT of tail scrubbers. We only run it for about 1.5 hours per day. But have to replace the scrubber every 2 weeks or so. I got these to see if they hold up any longer than the average 3rd party scrubbers on Amazon.First impression: the foam texture is very coarse. The OEM scrubbers have more of a fine texture. So these seem to work better at raw scrubbing. But definitely not as durable. They're also not as thick originally. Even the length is a little bit shorter than OEM. The internal hole is the right size. There's plenty of resistance so they stay on securely. And not too difficult to put on.I'm not exactly sure how the anti-splash mechanism is supposed to work. I put it on and it still sprays water out of the pool. Just a more diffuse spray. It also means less aggressive tail wagging and thus less cleaning action. It also adds weight which slows down the tail wagging. So I took it off. The occasional spray has never bothered us. My objective is max scrubbing.Overall, I'm not super impressed with this brand. They'll work. And the price-point is definitely good for 12 pieces. But the size and texture aren't quite right. Durability is a bit less than other brands I've used. And the anti-splash thing didn't really work for us. But it's an innovative feature if that's important for you.

Fit as expected on our tail sweep. Not sure if our Polaris is more aggressive than typical, but looking to replace these about once a week. We run the vacuum for about 8 hours a day, in two 4-hour shifts. My normal day to check the pool more closely is Sunday, and usually find the tail sweep is missing the pad that day. Not terrible for the investment, and about typical for the 'name brand' version of the same thing.Like any other brand, they are made to be almost too snug to slide on. Take your fingers and stretch them out a bit, then wiggle them in place on the tail. As long as they are above one of the weight rings on the tail, they won't slide off. They fall off once they've rubbed against the pool surface and have worn out. But won't fall off the end.Easy enough on your pool finish to prevent any issues of destroying a liner or pool finish, but strong enough to brush off the film along the bottom. I also found these just get sucked up nicely in the vacuum once they've been worn down. No issue with pieces floating around or other big chunks floating in the pool. That or they end up in the skimmer basket and typically don't even notice them.Would recommend!

"Not too bad"1. the foam piece is rather narrow but fits2. The "splash guard" is a good addition but it does add weight to the tail - if you have a separate pump (e.g., 380) not a big deal3. The foam piece seems to be less thick than othersOverall, this is an average buy since two pieces of splash guard is included but the foam is a bit thin - can wear out quickly but to be determined.

These pool sweeps come with a plastic fitting that attaches to the end of the tail. Then you attach the foam over the plastic fitting. My other sweeps have been foam only, so with the additional weight of the plastic fitting, my Polaris 280 tail sweep has trouble getting a lot of range of motion and sweeping back and forth, even with the tail sweep adjustment screw wide open. I tied using just the foam without the plastic attachment, but the foam is too small and not full enough to properly fit over the tail. It does work sufficiently, but I prefer the tail to sweep more freely so I will use these up but will not order them again.

These do not have the firmness or dimensional thickness of other scrubber tails I have bought. This is easily noticed in the pictures (my other product is on the left and this new product is on the right). The inner hole is the right size to fit; it's the walls of the scrubber that are thinner. It's hard to imagine the new, thinner scrubber holding up as long as the other one. My concern is: I keep an intact tail on the scrubbing hose at all times because if it wears all the way through, the scubbing action will be happening to my scrubber hose, damaging it. You cannot install a new scrubbing tail on a damaged hose, it won't fit. The repair to that is to shorten the hose. Eventually your hose can become so short it is pointless! These new tails do come with a hard plastic insert which would take the beating instead, protecting my hose, so maybe they are a good tradoff or at least I don't have to worry about damaging my hose. Scrubbng tails are so easy to put on (just slide them on) that there isn't any excuse to not have one in place. Often, these scrubber cost $5-8 a piece. At $1.50 each, these may be a bargain after all.

It's easy to put onto the end of the hose and I'm sure it helps lift dirty off the bottom of the pool. If you're buying this to keep the hose from spraying out of the pool forget it. It does not prevent that at all.
