For Optimal Use:
1. The inverter does NOT apply to high power electric devices such as electric heaters, curling irons, etc. Some of cordless drill batteries chargers may make high peak reverse voltage, this inverter is not good for this application.
2. This is a Modified Sine Wave series inverter, NOT applicable for air conditioners,CPAP, refrigerators and microwave ovens, If needed,please choose our Pure Sine Wave inverters.
3. If the output power of the inverter is HIGHER than 150W, we strongly recommend you using the Crocodile Clips to a battery (clips are included) but not the cigarette lighter, because your car cigarette lighter might not afford power over 150W.
4. When using reactive load appliances, the start power will be 2-5 times of continuous output / rated output power.

I like it but it already destroyed one of the battery cells and it's no way 2000 watts I can't even run 2 separate miliwalkee chargers yo charge my batteries. I might need the 4500 watt device but I do like it just not what it says it can handle

Very well constructed product. The display is a fantastic feature. When using it make sure you check the wattage of the device or devices you're plugging into it. Don't go over 800 watts even thou it is rated for 1000 watts because you should only use 80 % of the rated watts. We plugged a 1200 watt coffee maker into it and the leads started to smoke. It works very well if you stay under the rated watts! Very happy with this product!

I tested it with a blender from our kitchen (a device with less than 400W power consumption).I started with slow speeds and gradually increased the speed of my blender. Some chemical smell started to come out (at that point I wasn't sure where it was coming from; inverter or blender?).At top speed inverter suddenly died (both output and the display). I unplugged the blender and tried to restart the inverter with no load; it's still completely dead. That means only one thing; blown fuse (inside).So that horrible design inverter (supposed to handle continuous 1000 Watts) can't even handle 400 W.It went back immediately.Yet it got worse; I plugged my 7 years old blender to wall outlet - it's completely dead as well. I opened it up; yes, that burnt smell was unfortunately coming from my blender. It has a switch-mode power supply design inside. Although it's only driving a motor (shouldn't be such sensitive load as an audio-video electronic device). But still, wave-shape output of this horrible inverter caused blender power supply to fry. Output of that inverter had to be square-wave (not even a simulated sinus-wave).Killing my blender; this inverter caused an additional loss for me.Stay completely clear from this (there are also few very similar looking ones - they ought to be same design - don't go with them as well).I returned it and bought a much better model with pure sine wave output and real 1300 W output.
