The torch works very well. It's build well and priced reasonably. It's designed well and easy to use. It's pretty powerful, so should be used with caution.

Powerful Propane Torch Gun, Flamethrower With Adjustable Flame, 800,000BTU Blow Torch for Campfire, Fire Pit Starter, Fun Gift (Propane Tank Not Included)They had me sold at flamethrower! LOL no for real this thing is not only extremely cool it has great uses. So not only can you act like a adult grown child with playing with this. You can do your basic stuff with it we have a gravel driveway sometimes the weeds pop up I hate using chemicals because the pet safety ones are extremely expensive and I don't want to buy the cheap stuff where it could harm my pets. This is a great item to use to get rid of those pesky weeds and you can have fun while using it. It's super easy to use no it is not include the propane which most local Walmarts even carry them I will say this one is priced a bit High I've been seeing them average around $50.

It's an efficient and powerful torch! I'm using it with propane. The form factor, balance, and two-handed grips make this torch very comfortable and safe to use. The trigger is the sparker, and the gas control is a dial on top. Many people seem to find this type of gas control inconsistent. What I do is just turn it until I hear gas starting to rush a bit. Just a little hiss will do to ignite the flame, and then you can set it further from there. It'll definitely get a grill started, and is great for stubborn wet pinestraw, punky wood, and other materials that are especially difficult to ignite. I think the fun factor, the safety of having the foregrip, and the safety of the overall design (there's no exposed hot metal except the nozzle) make this torch a good value! Just remember to disconnect the fuel when you're done, and do that outdoors in a place away from sparks & other flames.

Unfortunately doesn’t work. We got it with a broken part and doesn’t work. It looks pretty cool! But beyond that, doesn’t function. We had the right size gas can and everything for it.

I got this mainly with lighting fires in my fire pit, and other similar uses. Works great for that. I was using 'Fatwood' fire starters, which definitely work, but had to be more careful to use smaller kindling to get going. And then I was lighting that with a little butane torch. This really does the job, without needing any special fire starter or small kindling- works great! I can see this being handy for lighting my woodstove without worrying about paper and kindling in the winter, or any similar usage. And that doesn't include the fun factor! A pretty cool tool to use. Easy lighting, and I had no problems using the rotary knob on top to control the flame intensity. I like how it uses standard propane cylinders, which aren't expensive and available everywhere.I can't vouch for it's use for searing meat, as advertised, but that wasn't my purpose. But as an efficient, effective and quite fun tool for lighting fires, I like it a lot.

Flame on! OK, I did not know this thing existed but when I saw it I knew I must have it! Is it as cool as it looks? It is way cooler. Super easy to use. No assembly required. Just screw on the propane can. Open the valve slightly and pull the trigger. It should ignite easily. If not then perhaps you have the valve open too much. Once this baby is lit, you can really crank it up. It is super powerful! Great for lighting a firepit. Seems durable enough to last for many years if used properly and taken care of. Pricing seems comparable to similar items. This may just complete you. It did for me.

This torch is easy to set up and use. The ignition works great starting with no drama by simply pulling the trigger. It is easy to adjust the flame and it puts out a nice long blue jet of fire. I love using it to start the vials in my grill or to set my garbage barrel on fire. I gave only 4 stars as the body of the torch seems to be made of plastic. I worry that it will melt if I leave the torch near the hot coals for too long. Also the design is pretty gimmicky. I guess if you are an avid fan of AR style rifles then the design may hold more appeal. The one ‘pro’ about the design is it does place the flame further away from the user which is an obvious advantage when lighting coals that pop and throw sparks everywhere. All in all, I think I would recommend a conventional weed burning torch for roughly the same price, but better build quality and durability.

Does it make fire? Yes. Does it "throw" it? No. This is just a weed torch wrapped up in "tactical" looking plastic. Good for something to hang on your wall or a novelty at gatherings to start up a grill or something and that's about it.I'm not really a fan of this thing as it feels extremely cheap to the point I question its safety. There doesn't seem to be a limit to how high you can turn it up until the knob will just pop off. Luckily I didn't have gas hooked up to it when I spun it that far, but who knows if you do?Lastly as this is just a weed torch it burns through those little 1lb bottles very quickly. I'd recommend an adapter to hook it up to a larger tank, but given the cheap feel of this thing I wouldn't even bother. In summary you probably won't find many uses for it. Regular off the shelf torches are half the price and perform much better, but they don't have that "tough" look.
