Nice design "jar grabber", funnel ok too...the lid "picker upper" cannot pick up a full size lid...only a lid used with a band...that's ok, but it would have been nice if the magnet was a bit stronger

This set is of course for canning. I love that the tongs have a spring so it’s less onerous to use them over and over to lift loaded down cans out of the pressure canner. The funnel is the real star of this show, though. It’s sized perfectly for both regular and wide mouth jar compatibility and it has little measurements to make sure you leave the right amount of head space. This is very important in canning! I do find that this funnel is useful for kitchen uses beyond canning and it has earned a regular spot in the utensil drawer. The magnetic lid mover is also nice but pretty self explanatory.

I purchased the kit basically for the tongs to lift the jars in and out of the canner. But the old funnels didn’t have the measurements so one had to lift the jars out to check, thus possibly having more cleanup.

I wanted something that was going to last rather than the ones that come in the cheaper kits. Plus I didn't want to mess around with the head space measurements so this funnel will make that alot easier.

Product is made to US container dimensions. Had to fabricate a sleeve to adapt it to smaller metric sizing containers used. Magnet on wand can be stronger. Build quality is about a 7.5/10.
