This is the BEST vacuum I have ever owned. It arrived well-boxed, and assembling was easy enough. The instruction manual has helpful illustrations. Overall it was intuitive. Plus, there is even a QR code in the manual that takes you to a video showing unboxing and assembly. Such a thoughtful feature! When I turned it on it seemed to have almost no suction, but I discovered that the pre-installed bag was installed incorrectly. After I fixed that - WOW the suction is FANTASTIC!And, it passed the noise level test: My 2 cats didn't do their usual freak out when I turned it on. At only 62dB of sound, it's relatively quiet compared to other vacuums I've used. The electric powerhead is fantastic. It has a low profile that enables vacuuming under low furniture, and it swivels, making it easier to get around furniture legs and into tight places.I absolutely LOVE the bright LED light on the powerhead - it definitely helps do a thorough job, and also prevents accidentally vacuuming up small things (like in my case, a dropped earring!)The suction is adjustable to five levels. The highest suction setting is perfect for wood floors. I had to use the next lowest setting to do the carpet - the suction is so strong that I could barely manage to push it across the carpet on the highest setting! So, I know it is really getting the pet hair and dirt out of the carpet! You can also control the roller with a switch on the wand - turn it off for some surfaces, like hard floors.I used the combination tool and crevice tool to give my furniture a good vacuuming. These attachments push onto the end of the telescopic wand, and there is nothing to lock them on - I had problems with the tools repeatedly falling off while using, but I'm still working on that. There is also a hard floor tool and a mini turbo brush, which is a smaller version of the power head. This mini turbo is great for cleaning furniture or getting into tight spots. Best of all, it is very effective on carpeted stairs - no more wrestling with the larger power head as you also lug the vacuum up and down stairs! The most-used tools (crevice tool and duster brush) store compactly in an onboard tool holder. When you are done cleaning, the 25-foot cord retracts neatly for storage. The vacuum comes with two extra bags and an extra roller for the power head. This appears to be a very well-built vacuum that will be durable and dependable for years to come. The materials are good quality. Nothing on it looks cheap. The vacuum is fairly lightweight, which helps make vacuuming a bit less taxing.Overall, I am really happy with this vacuum.Interestingly, this maker is so confident of the superiority of this vacuum that they even guarantee that you will get a full bag of dirt in the first three days - dirt that has been left by your previous vacuum. I did indeed get a full bag in that time frame, and so I can attest to the effectiveness of the Prolux Phanton Canister Vac.

I have three indoor pets, hence tons of pet hair. I vacuum often! For the most part, I really like the vac. A few features I do not like: 1) This is not a bagless vacuum. This vacuum came with one bag installed, and two extra bags. In one pass through about half my house, the first bag is half full. In a petless house, I think the bag would last a lot longer. I’m not looking forward to buying and storing extra bags. 2) This vacuum is not light weight. It’s a little heavy to carry, and a bit awkward to drag around. The hose is long (which is a good thing) and it gets twisted pretty easily when you move, but the vacuum doesn’t. I suddenly lost about 75% suction and finally realized my hose was doubled and crimped. This just isn’t going to be the easy “grab and clean pet hair” I was looking for.Though it isn’t exactly what I wanted, I am going to keep this vacuum for the following features: 1) This comes loaded with a lot of attachments. I can’t image what I would need that isn’t included. 2) Great suction with a variety of setting that can be easily changed as I move from carpet to wood. 3) Really long cord allows me to vacuum nearly my entire level with only one change of plug ins. Then, it retracts with the push of a button. 4) Portability. I can move this from room to room with one hand. It is heavy, but a lot easier to move up stairs than a traditional upright. While it is not exactly what I thought I was ordering, this definitely has enough great features to convince me to keep it.

My sister has had a Prolux canister vacuum for years. When we visit, and pull out the vacuum to help her clean the house, she will tell us it is the best vacuum she has ever owned. I think she forgets she has told us this before. She has multiple cats and a dog that shed hair all the time.I can tell, when using it, that the vacuum is very well built and has good suction power. Her vacuum made enough of an impact on me that I recognized the name when looking for a new vacuum on Amazon. This Prolux Phantom canister pet vacuum is just as good. Well built, powerful, and quiet. I love the multiple power levels, low canister body profile, the HEPA filter and bags (clean air), the 24 foot long retractable power cord, and the easy to remove brush roller within the power head. There is a red indicator light to let you know the bag is full or the hose is clogged and every time you start the vacuum it defaults to full power. The pet hair brush roller actually works surprisingly well. To test it, we went over an area on our carpet that we keep the dogs off of and where we had just vacuumed with our central VAC earlier. Very quickly, within minutes, the Prolux pet brush roller had hair wrapped around it. (There was also long red hair which has my wife’s name written all over it.) So this pet hair vacuum will definitely pick up hair that other vacs will miss. It is a good thing that the power head also has a small removable string cutter attachment built in because you will need it. A nice design - easy removable brush roller and string cutter readily available. Also a real plus is Prolux provides a second spare pet brush roller.Few issues though; the vacuum is good for hardwood/tile/linoleum floors and low-pile carpets. We have areas with medium-pile carpets and the vacuum is difficult to use on this. No question the vacuum is powerful enough to do the job but the power head is hard to move on medium or high pile carpet. The vacuum comes with a brushed hard floor head and the Wessel Werk EBK250 electric power head. The EBK250 does not have a pile height wheel adjustment so this makes it pretty difficult to push/pull on some carpets. The vacuum does excel on flat hard floors and low-pile carpets. If my wife had a wish list it would be that the electric head included power assist drive. The manual refers to a Prolux park/storage hook which can be used to store the hard floor head and even has a picture. The problem is that this hook is not included with the vacuum or can be found on their website.Minor issue found – there is adhesive backed sound baffling material inside the filter housing walls. This adhesive backing was not pressed in place during assembly and was flapping loose. Fortunately I discovered this very early and was able to press it back into place before the adhesive became clogged with dust and would no longer adhere to the wall. This is an excellent vacuum and will be perfect for many. If you have wood/tile/linoleum floors and low-pile carpets it is perfect. If you have medium or high pile carpet, then almost perfect.

So after reading several reviews I must say I went ahead and ordered this machine. Best decision I’ve made, set up was super easy, suction is top tier 👌🏾 exactly what I was looking for!!! I also ordered extra bags, but 2 extra came with it.
