Our commercial-grade adhesive tabs offer a powerful and transparent bond, but selecting the right surface is crucial. Here's a quick guide to ensure optimal results:
Works Great On:
- Painted Walls (Quality Paint): Most walls with cured, smooth, high-quality paint finishes work well. Always test in a hidden spot first.
- Unpainted Drywall: Clean, unpainted drywall provides a strong bonding surface.
- Concrete Walls: Ensure the concrete surface is clean, dry, and free of dust or debris for a secure hold.
Proceed with Caution:
- Powder-Coated Walls: The slick surface might not create a lasting bond. Test in a hidden area before full application.
- Chalky Walls: Chalk residue can affect adhesion. Clean the wall thoroughly to remove any chalk before applying the tabs.
Not Recommended For:
- Wallpaper: The tabs might damage wallpaper upon removal.
- Brick Walls: The uneven texture makes achieving a secure bond difficult.
- Freshly Painted Walls: Give the paint ample time to cure completely before applying the tabs.

Love this design wall - just what I needed. They are easy to put up, look nice and work great for displaying quilting blocks as they are made. Wish I had gotten them years ago.

The panels feel high quality. The packaging was very nice, and had some fine touches.I had to cut around a switch and it was easy to do with my rotary blade. Very easy to install with adhesive tabs, with plenty of extra tabs included. I bought 3 packages and made a 6x5 design wall.Pins stick into it nicely and hold well. There's nothing on the back to protect the wall, so just be aware.The surface doesn't "hold" the fabric with friction, like a flannel or fleece would, so pins are required.

Your fabric blocks will not just stick to these, you still have to stick pins in it to hold blocks on! They look nice, so I will keep them, but disappointed the fabric won't just cling to them.

All you quilters out there if you’re buying this for a design wall, it does not work unless you use pins. Whole purpose of a design wall is just to stick your block up there and stand back and look. very disappointed. I ordered it way back when cause I was moving and just got moved into my new house and got my design wall up and it doesn’t work. I’m past the return policy so now I have put $1.25 tablecloth over my pretty design wall.
