While it's not possible to immediately assess effectiveness (a 90-day minimum testing period is required), this radon detector appears to be a quality product from a reputable company. The small detector arrives vacuum packed in plastic, with clearly-written, thorough instructions. The directions state not to remove it from the wrapper until ready for placement, which can be in any living area except a kitchen or bathroom. The detector remains undisturbed for three months to a year before being returned to the company for analysis. I'm deducting one star because the advertised postage-paid return envelope was not included in my package. I can only hope this test provides accurate results!

Well packaged. The sensor was vacuumed packed tightly with no leaks. Instructions were clear, especially on proper placement of the detector. Setup of online account was simple. Now just have to wait the required 90 days to 1 year before I send back the collector and find out the results.It is kinda hard to do a timely review of a product that takes up to a year to see results from. That said, the company has a good reputation and I do not suspect there will be any problems.

I ended up not using mine and will save it for a move. I can still write the review because I can share something that will be useful to you. The reason that I ended up not needing to use it is because just before I was ready to open it and set it up, I happened to be reading the home inspection report for where I live and it specifically discussed Radon testing. The report said that because of the height above the ground that Radon was not a danger and that there was no need to test. That report is older and maybe things have changed or maybe it was a sloppy inspector, but for now I can say that you may want to check whether or not you actually need to do Radon testing. If so, then check the other reviews. I am also going to check to see if this is now recommended where I live at this level above the ground. If appropriate, I will update my review.

This is a great accurate way to get a real idea of radon in your space. The longer testing time is functionally more accurate than the short tests. Radon can increase and decrease based on changes in the soil outside. The test seems to be good quality. I have not sent it in yet but I will update this review if my results are strange.One thing I did notice though is there was no paid return shipping label. Someone said there was and mine did not come with one. Maybe if I register on the website but the instructions seem to suggest paying for postage yourself.For the accurate lab results included and long test I think this gives good peace of mind and value for the money.

90 day tests are significantly more accurate then the 2 or 7 day tests. For this test you can also go past 90 days in case you get busy and need a few extra days to get the test in the mail. All you have to do is mark the start date, and the end date, of the test and the lab does the rest.Test results took a few weeks to come back, which is fine.

I highly recommend Radonova's Ratrak3 radon test kit—it's the most accurate and efficient radon testing device I've used. The Ratrak3 made radon testing extremely simple. I just had to place the device in my living space for 90 days, then mail it back to Radonova for analysis.If you want the best radon test out there, I highly recommend going with Radonova.

This is a small device that is easy to disguise in your decor. It is on the recommended list by health authority. Bonus is that it's a great price and free delivery with Prime.

Accurate test. Kept this up four months for measuring radon in my basement. Received results after about 3 weeks of mailing back the device in the enclosed mailer. Took forever to reach them. Suggest mailing back either First Class with a tracker or Priority Mail AND not in the enclosed mailing envelope. Was slower than media mail.
