This was a very interesting buy, I had no experience or expectations with such a tool however I decided to get it. Upon testing it, it doesn't get very hot to cause an open flame or burn a paper however if you use self starting coals or similar it works fantastic. It is useful, just not a one stop solution. It does come with a battery, have sufficient power and is easy to store away.

Don’t waste your time and look elsewhere. It does not get that hot at all. I followed the directions as instructed, I charged the battery before even using it right out of the box, I did everything as instructed, and I still could barely get any smoke out of what I was trying to light. After a while, I stopped trying and went straight for a little bit of lighter fluid and my blow torch. That did the trick. Honestly, I don’t think I will be buying any other product from this manufacturer again. not what I was expecting and a complete letdown. I’m getting you are really looking for something that’ll work, look elsewhere and save your money.
