This thing is very expensive, on top of the Spreader you'll need to buy the battery and that even buying from Amazon cost me an extra 90 dollars.Using a fine fertilizer "feed and weed killer type " the Spreader is clogging frequently and it is hard to continue with the fertilizing. I tried with a different fertilizer and the same thing happened. It is ok for seeding the law but that is about it. I would not recommend buying it

I had high hopes of an easier, more convenient way of seeding grass. My current method is a handheld/sling whirligig. The Hipoke battery powered unit seemed a likely candidate for replacement.It fits most of my 18V Milwaukee batteries but removing them is quite difficult for a seasoned citizen. Maybe my fingers are too big? The way the battery attaches to the unit, the release buttons are partially hidden, making them hard to reach.The tool powers up just fine, but the trigger mechanism is difficult to hold for very long applications. My wife won’t even use it, it’s that hard to keep squeezed. The adjustable volume gate only opens half way at maximum application, making it dreadfully slow on anything over a 10’x10’ area.My overall experience with this tool compels me to say that I WOULD NOT recommend this spreader to a friend.

I need to take back my critical review of this product. I had mistaken the choice as a Milwaukee brand but realized it was only compatible as advertised. So far, seems well built.

Are use this product to spread plant fertilizer on all my flowers and shrubs. I noticed I had to constantly release and pull the trigger to get the fertilizer to come out consistently. Be careful and read the instructions about cleaning this unit is not sealed.
