The MKE 600 is the ideal video camera/camcorder microphone able to handle even demanding filmic challenges. Due to its high directivity, the MKE 600 picks up sounds coming from the direction in which the camera is pointing and effectively attenuates noise coming from the sides and rear. The switchable “Low Cut” filter additionally minimizes wind noise. Because some video cameras/camcorders do not provide phantom power, the MKE 600 can also be battery powered. A battery on/off switch prevents the battery from discharging prematurely; “Low Batt” is displayed.
The Sennheiser KA 600 is a 40cm XLR female to 1/8" TRS male coiled connection cable.

Mine arrived in thrashed factory packaging with no sign of having any kind of seal; so, my experiance might be with a used and/or damaged product. The power button light didnt stay on, with a new battery. Didn't sound better than the Comica that i got, that i was intending to upgrade from.

I take this microphone places it wasn't designed for, like in the rain. I've left it out in a downpour recording for over an hour, unprotected, with rain likely getting into the device somehow. Yet I haven't experienced any damage issues despite my carelessness (purposefully though, and worth it even if it got damaged. FOR THE SOUND!).Would recommend. Makes your voice sound good too, even if you don't like it.

Have tried a whole bunch of shotgun mics and this baby blows them all away!You cannot be this for the price .The seller , The Camera Box gets 5* as well 👍🏼
