For anyone who isn't aware: This is a thermal 4x6 printer, therefore it only prints on thermal labels, it does produce a small amount of heat, and it can only print in black.The usb dongle that comes with it seems to be superfluous, as you download the driver from the internet. I actually ignored the url they include in the book, as it seemed fishy, and instead just googled the driver (SN V6 driver) and model number (DB401) and found it from a standard website instead (oemdrivers).The printer works just fine with any source i try to print from, and has different settings for clarity depending on what you're trying to print. It's user-friendly and easy to get started. I printed one label, probably would have been fine, but i wanted to try to get it clearer, so I changed the settings to Adaptive Threshold, and it looked much better. I double checked by scanning the label with my USPS app, and it recognized the tracking number instantly, so obviously it worked.It spools two labels forward, then rolls back to the beginning of the first label so it knows where the edges are. It did double print the first time, but that was because I'd told it to print and it was plugged into a battery that couldn't power the heating element, so it still had a print queued from when it powered down. My mistake, not a big deal.All in all, this was the cheapest 4x6 thermal printer I could find between amazon, temu, aliexpress, etc, so I wasn't sure I'd be satisfied with it, but i definitely am very happy with this purchase.

It works well, but I did not know it did not print in color, only black and white. I will most likely will return.
