If I could give zero stars I would. This thread is absolute garbage for machine sewing. I have a serger, a standard machine and an embroidery machine. All of which are less than two years old and have worked like a dream with every thread I have used so far. Heavy duty upholstery thread right down to delicate silk thread. Expensive fabric store thread and cheap dollar store thread. Never a single issue. The first time I loaded this thread it almost instantly started breaking and jamming the machines. I have cleaned the machines and installed brand new needles in all of them. NOTHING helps. I have, literally, not been able to sew for longer than 10 - 15 seconds at the very most, with out it breaking or jamming the machines. I loved the assortment of colors, but if I can't actually use it there is no point in haveing it. BEWARE!!!

I intended to purchase only 4 colors (large cone, 1100m) I needed to complete my project. I found that this 40 color package costs less than purchasing the 4 large cones (1100m) separately.Upon using Simthread, I found they use the color coding I am familiar with. My Brother PE 800 can be finicky with what thread to use. The Brother PE 800 loves this thread, which is wonderful.Quality, price, familiar color codes and my machine loves it. I am very happy with my purchase and would purchase again.Ad to all that, very fast shipping.
