This is a cute little tank, but too small for even one beta fish. It might work okay to hold a few water plants and water creatures that can live in very cramped spaces like shrimp or snails. It's also not a super heavy duty quality, being made of plastic and not glass, and probably could easily be damaged. But if you add a little small decor and set it up with greenery, colorful rocks, and a few tiny sea creatures it could be a nice beginner tank.

This small 1.6 gallon aquarium is cute but has some flaws. One of which is the crack across the bottom of the tank. Was easy to see and feel when I pulled the tank from the box! It will definitely leak water. The quadruple filtration system that you insert in the lid does not fit securely. It constantly falls into the tank. I tried multiple times to make the system secure in the lid but failed. Not exactly efficient although it looks like a great idea. While it looks great with a great price, it will not work out to have a fish. Really disappointed.

Our son has been wanting a fish tank for some time. Every time we go to the pet store, he asks for a betta fish or an axolotl. So, when my husband saw this little tank, he thought it would be perfect. It was easy to set up and doesn’t take up much space. The directions were clear and simple for our son to understand (he’s 12). This is a good starter tank for him; it’s very small but suitable for the goldfish he ended up choosing. This will be a great tank for him to learn how to care for his fish and figure out if he really enjoys it. I like that it came with a cover since the cat has been fascinated by her new “cat TV.” He added some colorful rocks, a little tree, and a tiny castle for his fish. He’s happy with it, and for a small starter tank, it does the job well.

I wasn’t really expecting too much from such a tiny 1.6-gallon tank, but this one turned out to be a really pleasant surprise. It looks very modern, and the LED lighting adds a great touch without being overkill. It has a built-in filter that’s quiet and gentle enough for a betta or anything similar in size.Setup was easy and straightforward, no headaches. It’s small, so don’t expect to stock it with more than one little fish, but it’s great for a first tank or just a cute little display at work or home. The filter works well, but because of the size, you’ll probably need to stay on top of water quality with regular cleaning.Overall, for the price, I think it’s a good buy. It’s cute, low-maintenance, and adds a calm vibe. Perfect if you want something simple that doesn’t take up much room but still feels like a real aquarium.

I’ve really been wanting a small tank that would fit on a small shelf we have to add some visual ambience at night, this tank fits the bill. Be very sure you understand that this is a nano tank before purchasing, I was really hoping to have a tank that I could put a single Betta in and this is way too small for even that. This will be a great tank for snails and live water plants at our house.It has a great built in light and filter system, I’m not sold on the filter as it is fixed in the tray, so replacing or even cleaning will prove to be a challenge. It is a plastic tank and in my opinion that works plenty good for a small tank of this sort. It’s a great kit to get started with or would be a perfect gift to a young child that could get them started and learning tank maintenance to work up to larger glass tanks in the future. Well worth the price to get started.
