I don’t love this lock because it’s not a deadbolt. I think when you’re dealing with something like a front door, I prefer to have the deadbolt style smart lock that I had before. One of the other things that’s interesting. Is that when you are inside of the house. There’s a button by the handle that you can push that puts on secure lock, which means that nobody can open the door with a code. It’s so close to the handle that you can accidentally push it and I did. Luckily I had the key on me which I don’t normally carry. I’m outside trying to figure out why this lock won’t open and it turns out it’s because I accidentally pushed this button and with it I couldn’t get inside without the key. But I didn’t understand at first because it was accidental. The fingerprint recognition works really well. The functionality of it is really good. The build quality is really good and it works well. The only issue that I have again is that I need it to be a deadbolt because I now have two handles that I have to open at the same time and I really don’t like that so I am going to end up switching this out. It has the capacity to do remote, but it didn’t seem to be integrated into the app and so I didn’t love that and sometimes the app itself is a little wonky and inconsistent but luckily that’s not unnecessary or even daily thing that I need to use all that matters is that the door opens

I absolutely love this smart doorknob, it is perfect for my storeroom door. Especially since I rent, I don't have to worry when workers are in my home while I am out.

This is an impressive smart door handle at a truly fantastic price. The quality becomes evident upon opening the box. It's well packaged and includes everything you need for installation. The instructions are well written and straightforward. Setting up the app and pairing the handle was super simple and fast. I was concerned that the fingerprint sensor may not be up to par and could be annoyingly slow or not consistently accept our fingerprints. However, I have yet to encounter a single issue! It's both consistent and very fast. The door handle is weighty, which gives it a quality feel. Even something as seemingly insignificant as the sound of the latch engaging the striker plate is pleasing and exudes an air of quality. I can't yet comment on the long-term durability or power efficiency, as it's only been installed for about 3-1/2 weeks. I have a couple of smart locks and previously had a smart door handle similar to this one. I would recommend this one over the name brand handle even if competitively priced. But, at a 1/4th of the price, it's a no-brainer, IMHO. Based on my experience thus far, this door handle is an outstanding value in a crowded and competitive market and one that I would highly recommend.

I picked this up to lock my office and I can't say I'm all that impressed.The good:- Comes with keys and keycards that work most of the time- Alerts you (most of the time) if someone attempts to gain entry when locked- Convenient App (when it works)The BAD:- The little tab that covers that keyhole always falls off, so I simply stopped putting it on- The key cards have to be played with to get the lock to unlock a good half the time- The app doesn't always work, even when you're standing within 5 feet. Sometimes it will say "locked" when in fact, it isn't.- Passcode generation works about as well as the app does and that's not saying much.- RED FLAG - What happens if you need to get into the room and quickly lock the door? You can't. There is no manual lock on the inside, given the reliability of the app (and how long it takes to actually do it's thing), I certainly wouldn't rely on that either.In close, I'd try a different brand. Also, it wouldn't work on my front door, the latch isn't long enough. Glad it wasn't, I sure the heck don't want it on my front door.

It's the best change I could make to the Airbnbs I manage!I manage 7 Airbnbs in different areas of the city, and one of the most difficult things was when I couldn't go to hand out the keys, or when a guest lost them. All of that is a thing of the past. Now, with this smart lock, I simply generate a one-time access code for them upon arrival. With this, they enter, and the keys are already inside the Airbnb. Plus, if they leave them inside or lose them, they no longer need to go there to get another key. I simply generate another one-time access code for them.I'm thinking about not leaving any keys in the near future, but instead, assigning them a unique username for each guest arrival, thus avoiding any inconvenience with keys.
