It does not work. When playing DVDs, it will randomly skip/black-out about 1 second of the video and audio. This happens about every 4 to 5 minutes. I have tried Netflix and The Teaching Company DVDs.I have tried to contact the vendor but just received a generic response. Since then nothing!

I tried a multitude of cables but i had the sam problem with the less expensive 700 series as well. I have searched the internet and I have found that I am not the only customer to be unable to get Sony 4K Blu-ray players to work with Vizio TVs.I did get it to work at 1080P so there is a firmware problem.

Great product. First refurbished product I have ever bought. I was nervous as it is a 4K DVD player for new OLED Tv.This product works great!

Was a refurbished item, but works like a champ. Didn't want to spend $250 for a brand new one (seems outrageous considering 4k material is coming down in price and regular blu-ray players are less than $100), so the price for this unit was MORE than reasonable. I received the unit and it did a software update and works excellently. Very happy with it.

We bought this unit to replace a Sony BDP-56500 because of streaming problems particularly with Amazon Prime. This unit solved our problems due to the dual band WiFi. We set it on the 5GHZ band and every thing works great now.
