DA is to delay the closing cycle from the maximum degree of opening to approximately 70 degrees. Provides sufficient time for persons on crutches or in wheelchairs to pass through a door without concern.

Used the door closer heavy duty for our basement entry door. This unit is super solid at and temp. The secondary closing force for the last distance to latch the door is a great feature. The diagram clearly illustrates the function of each hole.
