I put this on my lathe right after receiving it. I ran the lathe at its lowest speeds to check for wobble or eccentricity, either of which would have sparked an immediate return to Amazon. It has no wobble. It has no eccentricity. I'm looking forward to using this tool on some walnut bowls I will be making (just got a log to cut up). At high lathe turning speed, i had no vibration, no wobble, even under side lighting. Its only 4 stars because its made in China; come on American Industry! Step up!

I purchased this to replace my factory faceplate on my Jet 1221 VS. It fits great. No issues. Seems sturdy and solid. I've used it a dozen times and it works. Would buy again.

Bought this for my Shop Fox W1758 wood lathe. The cast iron one I bought from Grizzly broke when my lathe was off balance. I don’t see this one breaking any time soon as it is thick steel and not brittle cast. The machining is precise and it fits my 1 x 8 tpi perfectly. Very happy with the purchase and delivery time.

I needed a couple of faceplate to keep handy a couple homemade tools for my lathe. The fabrication is clean and the precision of the tread hold the piece in place very steady. I’m happy with it
