Fans work well with 120VAC supply but the wires are not solid. Recommend connectors for installation on solid core wires. They've held up so far. I'd get them again if I ever needed more.

Worked well in wall for the confined space I had to install it in. Doesn't move a lot of air, but that was explained in its description. Good unit for tight space installs.

Fan was great....for about a week. It's now noisy and doesn't work well to move air. I have only had it installed about a month amd I am looking to replace it. Unfortunately, it's outside the return window. You get what you pay for, I guess.

I was looking for something more quiet than powerful for this particular application and had hoped this was the answer, but this is not a quiet fan. It isn't loud because of poor construction or build quality, just the quantity of air that it moves creates a lot of noise.Here’s the good - it’s simple, seemingly well built, only makes fan noises (no rattles or whine) and wires directly to the 120v source of your choice.The bad? It’s way louder than advertised. The listing says .8 sones and 34 db in several places, but when I pulled out my trusty db meter and placed it 3-4 feet from the fan it registered 57-58db. Turning it off immediately drops the room ambient noise to the low 40s on the meter. Far too loud for my purposes unfortunately but would be fine in most bathrooms, just expect to hear it and hear it well!
