Programming
1. Set the current time
Rotate the dial clockwise, make the arrow point to the current time, each scale represents 15 mins.
2. Set the Schedule
Inward pin represents OFF and the outward pin represents ON. Each pin represents 15 mins.
Begin with all slide pins pushed inwards.
Push out the pins on the dial for the periods of time you want the timer to be ON.
Push in the pins on the dial for the periods of time you want the timer to be OFF.

The unit appears well constructed and was easy to install. It offers two switches - one for each leg.I'd like to believe that I should be saving ~$25/month with this timer. My 40 Gal heater sits in the garage in central Florida and the ambient temperature is ~90 degrees year round, so we'll see.UPDATE: The timer failed after 5 months of use. Contacted Suraielec thru Amazon and they replaced the defective unit without any problem. Thank You Joy!

Perfect fit to replace a very old Intermatic timer for a pool sweep pump. I've replaced the motor and guts several times in the past 25 years, but the case was getting bad too. Knockouts in the Suraielec are in the same place as the old timer, so it was easy to swap out. And I can do 15 minutes segments which was not possible with the old timer. Very pleased.

It was already damaged. 5 months of use and it already jumps from “off” to “on”. When you program it to turn on at a specific time, it no longer does so and when it turns off, it does so completely. For it to turn on again, you must do it manually. It also has a sound like a wind-up clock. In conclusion, IT DOES NOT WORK!

Really like this timer, easy install if you have a little electrical experience. I have it connected to a hot water recirculating pump on my hot water heater. The pump actually has a timer, but it's in the attic with the HWH. I wanted to be able to control it from inside the garage which is where I put this timer, now I don't have to climb up into the attic to make any adjustments for when I want the pump to come on and off.I like the transparent door so you can see when the timer is sending power or not at a glance. So far keeping accurate time and working as I set it. I would recommend it, great item for a very reasonable price.
