I like the stuff its got in this little kit. I threw out the compass (junk), tie wraps, pushpins and thimble. Added my own BIG thimble and will use the case to add some other stuff. Soon I'll add a needle threader and some more colored threads. Overall, OK.

Bags, clothes, body parts, this kit can keep everything together. I recently used it to sew on some Cub Scout badges on our son's uniform, with different thread of course. Everything worked as it should, and it comes in a nice little tin that you can keep in a bright orange bag. One complaint that I have is that the tin is on the smaller side. This might not be bad for some, but it doesn't let you expand your kit with more/different thread, pins etc. It was actually so difficult to get everything back into the tin after I'd taken it all out that I had to use a rubber band to keep it shut.

This thing is amazing! As someone who loves to be prepared for just about anything, this fits that very well. There are multiple needle options and they all seem to be sharp! The metal case is nice and sturdy. I tossed this in a go bag. Thinking of getting a few more for other bags. Perfect for travel too if you get tired of asking hotels for sewing kits and they don’t have any!

This is a perfect emergency kit! It's small, lightweight size mm makes it easy to carry. This little set has all kinds a goodies stuffed inside it. The case is very durable, and all the products are good quality. It's small, looks great, and has a lot of functionality for it's size. This kit is great for the cost, and the thread is thick, giving the assurance you need when you're in the woods and need a repair done!

This has everything I could think of, plus a few things. I'll probably reduce it slightly since it's really not going to go back in the case after you look through it. I'll personally go without the speedy stitcher awl and use the real name-brand one at home if needed. We always are hunting for a good needle and there's several included in this set.Yes, most bits are low-quality, but any button is better than none in a pinch. Some browsing on Amazon shows me that the price on this is pretty high for a travel kit.

The set was just ok but the bag was very low quality and was the tin box which already had many malformations. The quality of the individual components was really mixed. The needles were ok but the handles were cheap. And emergency kit is not the time to skimp on quality. You’re under duress and in less than optimal circumstances. You really want to have high quality tools. You’re better off putting together your own kit with a high quality waterproof box and good chuck and handles. Three stars is generous

This kit contains a lot of good sewing and repair items, as well as some questionable items. The wide variety of needles from fine to heavy duty is impressive and handy. Three smalls bobbins of thread are okay….could use more. The scissors is okay: functional but flimsy. The case is sturdy and the storage sack is nice and firm- appears durable. Questionable items include a compass (in a sewing kit, really?) and the small zip ties. Maybe these were included for the “survival kit” aspect, but then other things should be included as well…just weird. I gained some space by taking them out. The awl for the large bore needles is handy, as are the curved needles. Buttons are…cheap. As is the thimble (? If that’s what it is - feels more like a board game piece). Overall, a good handy kit, with some good, some, cheap, and some awkward items.
