DO NOT WAISTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. If you have a normal gate constructed of 2x4 materials, the piece is not long enough to make contact on either side. After some major trimming and manipulation the handle assembly sheared off.

Got this for a fence so different screws had to be used, but it works very well. It feels strong and durable while looking nice and understated.

Used this on an outside patio door and so far it has been super sturdy - holding the door closed through rain, snow and wind storms.Hoping it is rust resistant enough to last a few winters.
