Your cart is empty.Synergee barbells are made with world renowned steel! These barbells are made with a high tensile strength of 190,000 PSI. Made with the perfect amount of “whip” and “flex” for weightlifting, Synergee barbells still have the stiffness needed for heavy powerlifting, olympic lifting, body building and crushing CrossFit WODs. Each bar is tested for straightness and balance throughout the barbell. Comfort in your grip comes from the knurl. Our goal was to create a full and uniform pattern that is not too aggressive but still gives the maximum grip you need. The knurling on a barbell is ground onto the bar by a specialized machine. The pattern features two sets of diagonal lines, each set going in the opposite direction, so that they form thousands of tiny little diamonds. These diamonds keep your hands from slipping, ensuring your comfort throughout your workout. After testing multiple knurls, we settled on a standard knurl with dual knurl marks. The inner knurl mark is for powerlifting, while the outer is for Olympic weightlifting. The aluminum plates on each barbell sleeve are color coordinated with bumper plate colors. We added this unique feature for the ease of know which bar is which at a quick glance.

Had a 25 year old budget bar so I wanted to upgrade. So many options available this is satisfactory. 1 end was punched through the box at delivery but didn’t seem to have sustained any damage. Has enough features I can appreciate.

I’ve only used this bar a couple of times so far. And I love it! Knurling is super tacky. The bearings allow the plates to spin free. I wasn’t expecting doing Hack Squats and noticing a tan stain on the knurled portion of the bar. I took me a minute to realize it was my skin! LOL! A terry cloth towel wiped it off with ease.

Just received this bar, and what an upgrade over a cheap one I had before! The knurling on the bar feels aggressive, which I absolutely love! The spin is excellent! Seriously feels better than the barbells I’ve used in gyms! It’s a steal at this price! Oh shipping was perfect too, all the way to Hawaii!*Update* came across a rogue boneyard training bar for cheap, and I still prefer the Synergee bar.

Was septic at first by reading all negative comments. But decided to give it a try with their 50% off promotion.BB arrived quickly and well packed, there is a QC signed label.The bearing does it job very well.Not giving 5 star due to the multiple cuff mark on both sides (see picture) nothing major only but a new BB should not be delivered like this.Over all, satisfied with my purchases and recommend.

Best value for the price! A bit oily at first but after a couple of workouts, my hands stopped getting dirty. Grip is great, the only thing is, compared to a chrome finish, that the lines for hand placement are hard to find sometimes if lighting is dimmed.Bearings are a bit loose, but rolls smoothly.Some reviews tells about rust, oily finish or loose bearings, to me if you want professional equipment you’ll be paying 300-400$+ for a barbell. For my use, this barbell is top notch!Keep in mind that this black finish will probably need special care for it to not rust over the years.

I consider this a 5 star product. First and foremost, it was shipped to me in a very, very sturdy cylindrical container to protect the bar during shipping. Huge plus on that! The packaging and the sturdiness of the cardboard did mean that it took some time (15-20 minutes?) to undo the fastener screws and cutting through the cardboard container to finally get the bar out, but I'd much rather have to do that than have a bar arrive damaged in some way. Having finally gotten the bar out of the packaging, I inspected it for any damage and matched it against the photos on Amazon.com of the product to make sure I received what I had seen in the photos. Everything matched up and looked good. The knurling on the bar is slightly abrasive enough that I suggest you do as I did, which is wear workout gloves when training. I don't consider the knurling a bad thing on the bar. I'm just mentioning these details since this is a review and hopefully my observations help others in making a decision to buy or not buy. The shaft of the bar is black (as advertised) and seems to have been coated with some type of lubricant. I'm guessing that is to done to prevent oxidization of the bar while it is / was sitting in some fulfillment center waiting to be shipped. It's not a detractor -- I still consider the product to be 5 stars -- but something to point out. Over time, I am sure that that slight lubricant coating will go away as I continue to use the bar and grip it here or there. Using gym chalk would probably help in that process, but anyway, it's not a deal breaker for me. So far, I haven't loaded the bar with a boatload of 45 lb plates, but the quality and heft of the bar is what I'm accustomed to in commercial gyms, so I don't have the impression that it would't hold up to its advertised load capacity. Regarding the price: I ordered this bar in August 2020 and it took about a week to get to me, so I paid the Covid-19 jacked up prices that is occurring on pretty much all exercise equipment, but especially with weights. Needless to say, I went into this purchase knowing full well that I was paying a premium at $275+ for an Olympic bar, but it's the way of the world right now in a free market and I'm not going to use that against the seller or take away a star on the product itself. I would've been very upset had the bar not met my expectations, but thankfully, that wasn't the case. I'll include some close-up photos of the bar so you can see, however slight, the knurling of the shaft and the ends of the bar. (No, the XMark branded plates did not come with the bar). I know there are a lot us die-hard gym goers that are having to build our own home gyms during this pandemic, so hopefully my review steers you all in making informed decisions on what to buy and what is pure garbage.

Ordered this bar based off of need. I ordered a cheaper bar, but it got lost in shipping. This one had the lease amount of time for delivery.Both bars ended up arriving on the same day. Even though the synergee was ordered 7 days later.This bar is amazing so much better quality. No squeaks, high end finish. Came with extras like lifting straps and some kind of bar wrap.This bar is worth the money, based off my opinion, and I am cheap. Check this bar out. Fits my titan bumper plates perfect.

Pros:- Really liked the quality and material of the barbell- The black bar color is pleasing to the eye (for me at least)- Packaging is VERY STURDY (may need to brute force your way out of it, especially the end caps)- The grip is very goodCons:- The barbell came in very oily, and I had to wipe it out several times to leave the residue out. I left it in the open air for a few days before the oil smell was gone.Overall, highly recommended barbell and quality.

I been looking at buying a Synergee barbell for myself and decided to get my wife her own barbell. I can say it's a great barbell, spins nice and has a great knurl for her which won't beat her hands up. She's not a heavy lifter by any means, but I'm a firm believer in getting the right tool for the job and this bar will feel better for her. Hell I got big gorilla mitts for hands and I like the bar. Item was well packaged and only thing I found it had surface rust, no biggie, nothing a little gun oil can't fix and done. Next will be my barbell after seeing how well this bar is made plus you can't beat the cost, performance of the bar and free wrist wraps and wrist straps!

I bought this bar for the olympic lifts. I have 2 years of weightlifting experience.PROS: This bar rotates very smoothly, as smooth as IWF eleiko bars. The knurl is so aggresive that I don't need chalk for max attempts at Snatches/clean and jerks. This bar is better quality for oly lifts than bars you will find in any gym with some exceptions, with the bonus of being extremely cheap in comparison to other oly bars.CONS: The knurl comes pretty close to the center and catches my thighs on the the way up during olympic lifts! great for deadlifts, but painful in oly lifts. The knurl is aggressive, which I love, but it hurt my hands after an hour or so during the first month of using it. The knurl does not feel as aggressive to me anymore.

This is a great bar, I like the grip a lot. The finish feels and looks great, the spin is nice and quiet.The bar came carefully covered with oil, I used microfiber towel to wipe it out - took 5 minutes. Feels as if the bar was manufactured with great care.My only complain is packaging, this is why I remove 1 star. I had to return the first bar I received - the cardboard tube was broken, the bar stuck out and was heavily scratched. Shipping company even lost one of the rubber bands, have no idea how. It was very easy to get the replacement (Amazon is great), however the second time it barely managed to get delivered in one piece. The end cap on the packaging tube fell out as soon as I lifted the package and I got a scratch on the end cap of the bar itself. The scratch was very minor and I decided to keep the bar this time.My advice to the manufacturer - please make packaging end cups sturdier, apparently shipping companies don't care much what they do to the package. So sad because the bar itself is great!BTW, the price is awesome, too!
