The adapter and pins are some of the most common failure points, so having a replacement is handy and cheaper than buying a whole new head and pole. The problem with this is the plastic pin that goes through the yoke. It is too short to stay in place. The pin cannot spread back open so it prevents the the pin from backing out of the yoke. I ground down the thickness of the yoke but the pin still would not go through far enough. I then used a quarter inch mill bit and counter sunk the holes in the yoke to try to accommodate the length of the pin but the pin still backs out while I am vacuuming the pool. I don't see any longer pins available.

Finally a part that is durable and won't break . Plastic parts are useless and do not hold up. This will.
