Simple to use USB-C powered dummy battery. Registers normally with my A7IV and keeps a steady draw from the battery block. Extremely lightweight and simple design. Without the coil stretched, the cable is around 2 ft long.

This dummy battery works fine for its purpose. That said, the cable connection to the dummy battery feels a bit fragile, like if it got caught on something it would pull right out – it’s intended to be permanently attached. I think it’s fine if the camera will be normally set up with the dummy battery installed, however, if you move between staging areas a lot it may not be the right one for you.
