The nursing home my friend used to live in(R.I.P. Dee) had one of these. Very reliable .comfortable and warm seat too, nice. Had to get one for myself.

This thing is really amazing! I now cannot go to the toilet any other way. No regrets going with the original of all bidet toilets, TOTO all the way!!!! if you're from a cold country like i am or you just like things to be warm you'll really appreciate the features.Water pressure: good!oscillating water and pulsating water: hilarious! try it out!seat: warmer than I was expecting in a good way. there are autofeatures you can toggle so it's always warm when you sit down.dryer: Actually dries! i didnt believe this feature would really workwater: warm!night light: cute!deodouriser: also hilarious! it's still new but i didn't smell anything bad when i used it, it was a light smell kind of like the inside of a bestbuy.hygiene: this thing is always cleaning itself! if it's not self-cleaning the wand, its misting your toilet so the bowl stays slippery and clean.if you're worried about electricity costs, there are energy saving options. just choose one from the remote's settings.I read some of the reviews saying it leaked and it was hard to install. I followed the instructions and was able to get it up and running in about 20 minutes. no leaks or anything, only needed a flathead screwdriver to tighten the bracket to the toilet, the rest I did by hand. i didnt need any extra parts as i already had a bendy water supply line, i got it from the hardware store a long time ago for the toilet and it fit with our toto perfectly.the seat opens automatically like it's saying hello what a friendly device! 10/10 friendship goals!i love it so much that im writing this review, i never do these!

So, after a recent Stroke we purchased this product. I had of corse been aware of this type of product but like most North Americans had never actually seen one in use. To say once you've tried one you'll never go back is an understatement. IT does what it says it does and it does it very well. I'm just adding my voice to the choir here. My 16 year old son set it up in 15 min.from unboxing to 1st test. So I'd say easy to install and very easy to use. Water it warm long enough to do the job and you can adjust both intensity and temp.If you are on the edge "JUMP" great product no issues. Read the manual online to be prepared for the unit when it arrives.

Does what we wanted. System cleans reasonably well. Deodorizes nicely. Seat warmer is tops. The quality of the product is high. Nice construction and feel. System fit perfectly on our Toto Aquia series toilet BUT we required the outrageously priced 6” extender to install the toilet. Also, wiring a GFCI circuit to the toilet was an added complication I wasn’t thrilled to do. Finally, I’m amazed no one has done a good “how-to” video on installing this (talking to you Toto) that would help DIY buyers in assessing requirements beforehand. I subtracted the 5th star for this complication and the fact that the deodorizer fan is not quiet and runs a significant time after finishing. But, that’s a feature I can live with. Some people have complained about cleaning. I find the premises has helped keep the toilet bowl cleaner. I was surprised this worked. So no cleaning issues here.

UPDATED 5/20/2019 (9 months use): Still going strong, update on cons belowI've had this thing about 2 weeks, and holy wow... what was I doing with my life before this. This should be mandatory in all homes. I am giving this 5 stars with some caveats (on installation issues that others and myself have encountered). I plan to update if I find any more issues as time goes on.The biggest plus for me is this just makes you clean. If you suffer from 'issues' in the region, this is a must I think . TP can be harsh on sensitive bums... this helps tremendously.So the pluses.1) Great water pressure, water is hot and you can change the temp. God my bum feels great.2) Multiple positions for the bidet function. You can oscillate the sprayer, or use the remote to move it up and down while shifting your bum.3) Heated seat is absolutely luxurious early in the morning.4) Remote control. I debated between this version and the version without and am ultimately glad I went with the remote version. I feel like it might be awkward to have to shift your body to hit the buttons on the side of the washlet. The remote comes with a great magnetic mounting bracket that you can put right by your toilet. 60 extra dollar well spent for remote.5) Fit: It fit my toilet just right, no issues with installation from a sizing perspective (see note below on T connector).The cons (more like slight annoyances):1) Installation issues. I had similar issues to others when I installed and had a small leak. I didn't get a great connection at first, and had to remove the seat and tighten up a bit more with the supplied rubber washer. Now, no leak. So all good.2) Wish the tank were a little bigger. I like the water blazing hot, and I get about a minute of it which is great, but would love it to last a bit longer. UPDATE: It lasts long enough, as long as you are not using highest settings of pressure.3) Dryer doesn't blow enough force as others have mentioned. This is only minor to me. A little tp at the end is okay. UPDATE: It's enough.... anything more might be uncomfortable.4) Price - it's expensive, but it does appear to be good quality. Just can't afford to put this on more than one toilet at the moment.I will update this review if I run in to any issues down the road.*** Update 12/5/2018 ***Now had this several months and still very happy with the performance. Self cleaning works well, heated seat is great. I end up preferring to oscillating mode, and often manually move the sprayer up and down. I find the minor annoyances have mostly gone away from the original review. The dryer and tank issues are pretty much non issues (I rarely run out of hot water). I use this with an extension cord, and have had zero issues. I used electrical tape to ensure no moisture seeping in at the connection point, and have it hooked in to a GFCI outletUPDATE 5/20/2019: Still going well, great product well worth the price. I am considering adding a 2nd in the home. Some people including myself have had times when you might get a bit 'surprised' by the pressure coming from the bidet. This is important, and I read it wrong in another review. If you accidentally press the rear button twice (ie, you double tap it) the 'soft' water spray turns off, and switches to hard for a stronger spray. Another push of the bottom will move it back to soft. Hope that helps someone when you get surprised by the bidet. It will happen, and it took me months before I realized what was happening. So in all caps as it may help folks: THERE ARE TWO PRESSURE FUNCTIONS SOFT AND HARD, and EACH HAS MULTIPLE LEVELS OF PRESSURE.

Great item. I have had it for a few months now, so time for a review. There are higher end bidet seats made by this company that offer what seem to be silly upgrades, like raising the seat as you approach, and some sort of "electrolyte" water treatment. Seems like overkill, and this one is pretty awesome.1. Installation: It seems intuitive, but make sure you have an electric plug (water safe) within 4 feet of the toilet. The installation is supposed to be easy to DIY but this was not our case. FORGET the directions that come with the seat. Go right to YOUTUBE which has excellent videos on installation. One of the videos omits that there is a lever on the R side of the seat to hitch and unhitch it from the base.The seat is easily fitted and adjusted. However, you need to have a BRAIDED or flexible water hose coming from the toilet.We did not have this, so we had to have a plumber come in and do this.2. Settings: Very easy to adjust. You can make the seat warmer or cooler, water warmer or cooler, etc.3. Water: The water in the bidet tank comes from the same source as the water in the toilet tank, but they do not mix. The water is nice and clean, and stays warm even if you do courtesy flushes.4. Appearance: Seat is much bigger and slopes down, looks odd, but needs to be to accommodate the water tank and all the magic wands.5. Seat: Is considerably SMALLER than previous elongated Toto seat. My 6'4" husband noticed this but it was not a problem after getting used to it.7. Functions: Pretty awesome. There is a REAR washer and a FRONT washer. You can adjust pressure, position and oscillation easily via the remote control. Before I got it, I thought I would use it once a day. But honestly it is a lovely hygienic habit used more often, before bedtime, or after exercise. The dryer has an odd smell, I am not sure why. There is a charcoal filter for odor control, works well. ONE WARNING: There is a big warning label on the underside that advises AGAINST direct spray of cleaner or Potty spray into or onto the toilet, as it might damage the works.8. I completed my boudoir ensemble with a bamboo Squatty Potty, also available on Amazon.

Fantastic! Great product for anyone who likes a bidet. This robotic "toilet paper" is just what I expected and wanted. But only for the people who love cleaning, not wiping.Would buy and again. Would have bought earlier if I knew what I know now. I thought it was just some "piece of junk". I was totally wrong. Great item for comfort. The drier is sort of useless but doesn't offset the other qualities. I need to add that the connector that came with it is still leaking. I do not know how to solve the problem and still trying. Yeap...the water connection is still a struggle. If anyone found a solution, please let us know. Thanks..ps: Hey ToTo, can you help ???
