I ordered X Large after wash a little tighter. There is shrinkage- size up. I am going to purchase another longer one for longer dresses. This garment is made well and with quality cotton.

I liked that it was long and the length was adjustable. I would have preferred it be a little longer. I am tall and had gained some weight, and it covered most but not all of the "thigh chafe" area. But it did help quite a bit.

It is difficult to find slips that are not nylon, so I appreciate this culotte slip made of cotton knit. Especially great for summer wear, but OK for other seasons. The legs prevent chafing on my heavy thighs. And I like that the length can be quickly shortened. The legs fit loosely, which is good, but I wish they flared out more, to give a modest silhouette under thin unlined skirts, when standing in bright sunlight. When wearing a thin, translucent skirt, I may layer a regular non-culotte slip, A-Line, on top of this culotte slip. Overall a 5-star rating.

It is sized very large. I am a 40"-41" hip so admittedly I'm right between a medium and large according to the size chart. I opted for the large and the extra fabric is plentiful, it gathers at the waistband around the entire circumference of my waist and looks like a big tent. This company is one where the return shipping is on the customer so I suppose I will just keep it and maybe it will come in useful at some point. Also, I completely admit that it does say "jersey knit" in the description, I wish I'd read it twice. Knit is the sort of cotton material that is soft and stretchy like a teeshirt. So if you were to wear this underneath another cotton garment the two may grab onto each other and cause the skirt or the slip itself to constantly hike up. It is soft and comfortable against the skin, but it does not behave like a standard slip/undergarment under a skirt. Although far less comfy and not a natural fabric like this one, a nylon slip or a finely woven cotton slip will actually "slip" off of the overlying garment, allowing it to hang freely while a person moves and walks around. It is common sense, this is why a true slip is made of nylon/polyester. And that was what I was looking for. I will keep looking. I can imagine hanging out in the backyard in this, or maybe using it as a pool cover up.
